Response from the manager Thank you for your feedback and for reaching out to us during your stay. Unfortunately, there is about a two-day delay reviews being sent to us after they are posted, and we are sorry that we could not assist you earlier. The ceiling is still intact at the home, and it was found that some of the popcorn came lose which fell. I'm sure that was worrisome, and we are sorry that this happened. Our maintenance staff will be working with the owner to ensure it is repaired. Again, thank you for letting us know.

“Great OceanFront home.”
This oceanfront home was comfortable and roomy. All bedrooms and bathrooms were large and clean. The boardwalk to the beach was wide and I particularly liked the built in benches close to the beach.

I agree that the location is ideal as it does have a very private feel, but is close to the central part of Emerald Isle where you will find restaurants and shops. I am very sorry to hear of the issue you experienced with the heat. I do see where we sent a repair person to the home during and after your stay and I'm sure this has been fixed, but I'm sorry for the discomfort you experienced. Response from the manager Thank you for your review of your stay at Waterloo. I noticed that you stayed last August and into September and hope you enjoyed your time in Emerald Isle. Our maintenance department has been busy during our off season inspecting the decks of each of our rental homes to ensure the safety of each of them as well as the safety of each of our guests. While it is normal for the nails and fasteners to pop with age, no other items were noted which would pose a safety concern with the deck of Waterloo. Thank you again for your feedback. While it is true that vacation rentals change owners from time to time, more often than not they remain vacation rentals and in most cases existing furnishings and other personal items are included in the sale of a property.
