“Unforgettably Great Holiday” Overall experience was excellent, We have stayed in the Enterprise beach area before and absolutely loved it. But staying at Palisades 6a was bringing the experience to another level. Arriving to this villa after a long haul flight all very tired, we were picked up on time by the pre-arranged mini bus taxi. After only 15 minutes drive we arrived at the Palisades. Greeted at the property by a warm welcome from Laura our friendly Property administrator. The villa was very clean and beautifully prepared with all our pre-ordered shopping stacked neatly on the shelves and in the fridge. Laura clearly explained all the facilities and details of the property. Overall the villa was of a very high standard and very tastefully decorated with lots of small details which made it look homely, candles, nice individual pieces of furniture etc. whilst still feeling slick and quite contemporary. The villa was also very quiet with no disturbance from road noise etc. One item we would like to add is it would have been good to have window and door bars fitted so we could open the windows more to take advantage of the nice breezes rather than rely on the a/C. The views from the master and front bedroom are simply stunning and quite mesmerising. Literally a stones through away from Cotton Bay beach, which we enjoyed many a morning stroll or run and swim. Then only 10 minutes walk to Enterprise beach and 20 minutes walk to Oistins. This area and property really is the perfect location and very suited to families and young children. We bumped into many people we had met here before on previous holidays and everyone was happy and really enjoying their stay in Barbados. We particularly enjoyed eating and having a sun downer drink or cocktail at the communal club house on the cliff right above Cotton Bay. We often cooked and bought over the food to this facility and had some of the best view of the ocean and South coast. Even before we left we already started talking about returning.
