Una vacanza per scoprire la nostra bell’Italia!! Cultura, Cibo, Storia!!!
“O temperate dulce Formiae litus…..” declamata da grandi della storia “Apollinare, Cicerone, Ghoete….”
A Formia, delizioso appartamento al primo piano in Villa, panoramico, situato ai piedi dell’antico e suggestivo borgo medioevale della frazione di Maranola, con 4 posti letto, arredamento tipicamente italiano, molto curato, con gusto e particolari ricercati, spazioso, luminoso e molto attraente. Ha un’ampia area living con salotto e camino, soggiorno/cucina, soppalco in legno, terrazzo ad uso privato degli ospiti ma il giardino sottostante non è utilizzabile.
La zona notte è composta da due camere matrimoniali e due bagni. Dal terrazzo/patio con tavolo pranzo, sdraio, barbecue, si può ammirare uno splendido panorama del Golfo di Gaeta ed il bosco, lateralmente alla casa, che può vantare uno charme ed un senso di pace e tranquillità di pieno relax.
A pochi minuti i luoghi di maggiore interesse: il porto da cui partono i traghetti per le meravigliose Isole Pontine Ponza, Ventotene, Santo Stefano.
il centro storico e commerciale della città con i suoi eleganti negozi; gli innumerevoli ristoranti e pizzerie dove si possono apprezzare i veri profumi e sapori della cucina mediterranea con i piatti dell’antica tradizione culinaria della città , accompagnata dalla discrezione, gentilezza e simpatia del personale; il grande e pittoresco mercato di Formia; la stazione ferroviaria.
Grazie alla sua posizione sul mare, protetta da Gaeta ad ovest e dalle colline alle spalle, Formia vanta una invidiabile condizione climatica, che insieme agli arenili di Acquatraversa, S. Janni e Gianola ad oriente e Serapo e Vindicio ad occidente la rendono una ricercata meta turistica.
A 5 minuti di auto, la bella ed ampia spiaggia di Acquatraversa (Grand Hotel Miramare) con il lido “Lo Scoglio” gestito da una gentile e disponibile famiglia dove si possono gustare le “ciambelle napoletane” e la famosa “caprese” piatto tipico con pomodori, mozzarella e basilico.
A 15 minuti di auto, la spiaggia di Santo Janni e Gianola, in prossimità del Parco Regionale di Gianola e dell’Oasi Blu, con il suo mare poco profondo, ideale per i bambini. A Gianola si possono visitare anche le antiche rovine di ville romane ed il suggestivo porticciolo romano tutto immerso nella rigogliosa macchia mediterranea lungo una costa frastagliata e suggestiva.
Il Centro Internazionale di Atletica Leggera (CONI) a 6 kilometers. Possibilità di passeggiate a cavallo, campi da tennis, trekking, escursioni nella natura, centri velici.
Tra Gaeta e Sperlonga 10 kilometers. di spiagge separate da punte rocciose, ognuna contraddistinta da una torre saracena fino alle splendide falesie di Monte Orlando e della Montagna Spaccata.
Anche negli altri periodi dell’estate e media stagione, il grande fascino di questi posti riesce ancora a prevalere. Poca gente e mare caldo per le nuotate sottocosta che si consigliano vivamente per godere appieno della bellezza del litorale!
A 15 minuti di auto, la spiaggia di Vindicio, a ridosso della città e fuori dal traffico, nasconde un’oasi di relax ed è molto frequentata da appassionati della vela e del surf. Nelle vicinanze il verde della Pineta di Vindicio, la Villa di Rubino, XVI secolo, detta di Cicerone costituita da terrazze con giardini e da due ninfei degradanti sul mare nei pressi dell’antico porticciolo romano di Caposele per nautica da diporto.
La bella spiaggia di Serapo a ridosso di Monte Orlando e con la suggestiva “Montagna spaccata”, e le magnifiche spiagge della RIVIERA DI ULISSE dove la leggenda si fonde con la storia!
SPERLONGA lunghissime e splendide spiagge sabbiose di circa 14 kilometers. che si estendono sul pluripremiato mare.
MARINA DI FONDI con sabbia fine contornata da dune marine e laghi costieri. Alcuni tratti sono attrezzati, la maggior parte è libera da concessioni.
TERRACINA dove la soffice spiaggia dorata diventa più scura solo quando il sole passa dietro il tempio di Giove.
SAN FELICE CIRCEO e SABAUDIA le cui spiagge e dune fanno parte del Parco Nazionale del Circeo. Soffice sabbia dorata caratterizzata da un litorale ampio e lungo che alterna tratti bassi e sabbiosi a tratti più alti e rocciosi, orlato da una rigogliosa macchia mediterranea.
Formia, grazie alla sua splendida posizione tra Roma e Napoli, vi darà la possibilità di raggiungere in poco tempo luoghi di notevole valore artistico e paesaggistico: le famose abbazie di Montecassino e Fossanova, la Reggia di Caserta con le seterie di S.Leucio, gli scavi di Pompei, il bellissimo Giardino Oasi di Ninfa, l’antica città romana di Minturno e tanto altro.
A soli 30 minuti le Terme di Suio, antiche Acquae Vescinae frequentate fin dall’epoca pre-romana e conosciute in tutto il mondo per le loro capacità terapeutiche.
Una vacanza all’insegna del relax, a pochi minuti dal mare e come punto di partenza per Roma e Napoli e dal molo d’imbarco per le Isole Pontine.
