Nice and peaceful cottage

Left on Oct 16, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

A lovely cottage in a great location and very peaceful. The description of off road parking is slightly misleading as it is a lane shared by all the other properties leaving little room for turning. Despite a problem with the fridge/freezer the owners mother was quick to help.

This little cottage contains all that is necessary for a great holiday in the Peak Districk. We found the location very good and central for visiting all of the area and it's attractions including Chatworth House,Matlock Bath, the Heights of Abraham and Alton Towers. Great pubs in Hartingham
and very good area for walking. The owners were always on hand but never made their presence obvious.

Beautiful cottage in the perfect location for exploring the Peak District

Left on Jun 01, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

The cottage was in a great location, right on some public footpaths, and the owner had left maps in the cottage making it really easy to get out and go exploring!

Although the cottage is part of the same building as the owner's house, it has its own entrance and is completely separate. Inside it was beautifully decorated, and although small, this just added to the charm of it. The kitchen was …

Best quality accommodation

Left on Jun 15, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Wonderfully equipped accomodation, in quiet courtyard with parking. This property was the best accomodation we have had, very comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. The hot tub is magnificent to come back to after a day of walking. However the roads are not the best for a stroll as the lanes are very narrow and dangerous. Alton towers is nearb, so good accomodation all round.
