Description

The Tower is a converted windmill on the edge of a pretty medieval village in SW France. The property is on on 3 floors.
The bedroom is on the top floor with its king size bed and ladder leading to the roof terrace. The second floor is the bathroom with shower cubicle, sink with shaver point and separate wc, and on the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, hob, oven and sink unit.
Outside is a decked terrace with gas BBQ and views of the valley and gorgeous sunsets.
Great views of the village, vineyards and surrounding countryside.Easy walk (500 metres) to shops and restaurants.

The village of Gensac has many amenities including a butcher, baker, 2 bar / restaurants, a supermarket, newsagent, chemist, doctor, tourist office, a hotel, church and a cash machine. No need to get into a car to get provisions but a car is still essential for getting here and around the local sights.

Great walks through the countryside and vines. Fantastic cycling routes including a 50kms cycle into Bordeaux along a disused converted railway line.
Canoeing and kayaking on the river Dordogne at Pessac 2kms away.

Please note - steep path and steps up to the property - open stone staircases inside. The tower is not suitable for children or anyone with reduced mobility.
Wine tasting tours with local vineyards
UNESCO world heritage village and wine centre of St Emilion is 20 minutes away.
