Additional Location Information
Five distinctive vacation rental properties located in Gulfport, Florida, next door to St Pete Beach, Pasadena and St Petersburg. Our pretty town is comprised of comfortable neighborhoods, an art and beach district and our shorelines are free of the huge hotels and condominiums that dominate the beaches and obscure so many of the views along the Florida Central Gulf Coast. You can easily see the water and Gulfport is easy to move around via bike, car, SunCoast trolley or bus.
Reminiscent of the pleasurable days of old Florida and early Key West, Gulfport offers you an experience that is compelling and alluring.
Relax on one of the beaches’ many glider swings while your children play on the beach playground and build sand castles. Savor succulent, fresh seafood, live music and sounds of shorebirds, wild parrots and the sea at our waterfront restaurants and pubs.
There are activities for everyone - live music, plays, dancing lessons at the Casino, glass-blowing classes, sailing lessons, and public fishing pier. There is excellent shopping with unique works by local and national artists, tennis and shuffleboard, volleyball courts at the beach, a library, beach pavilions, a performing arts theater, beach playground equipment and a dog park.
Bring your bike and embark on a short or long ride on the Pinellas Bike Trail. See the Links page for a list of annual events, such as the twice-monthly Art Walks, seasonal festivals and lighted Christmas boat parade. Using Gulfport as your launching pad for activities further afield: Busch Gardens, the Salvador Dali museum, Honeymoon Island State Park, Caladesi Island State Park, the Holocaust Museum and more!!

We wanted a vacation rental close to my Mother's home. The property was comfortable and located in a cute neighborhood. We walked to nearby restaurants, shopping and a quite beach. There was a nice playscape at the beach. There was also a boat dock very close and we went on a dolphin cruse that took us to a nearby island we could explore, I think it was Sand Key island, it was wonderful for us and the kids. There was also a bike trail nearby "Pineallas", you could ride for miles. Not far was St Pete's beach and shopping.
The house was charming, nicely decorated and fully equipped with linen and dishes. They also had a grill on the deck and little pond in the backyard. There was also a video library to choose from, something for everyone.
