“What a great cottage” Lovely cottage. Located on the edge of a small village which is only two miles from a town with many shops and restaurants. The cottage itself was spotless when we arrived. Cosy yet felt spacious as each of the five rooms was set out on its own level. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, including soft duvets, fire wood and a much welcomed bottle of wine.

“Perfect family getaway” We had a wonderful time with our toddler. The house is ideally positioned for so many family days out, close to several seaside towns and with York nearby, there was plenty to do. The village is quiet, but there was an excellent playground and a lovely looking pub just a few doors down (although we didn't get time to eat or drink there in the end!) There were several delivery services available to the house, we were happy to have a welcome hamper waiting for us and ordered a fruit and veg box and milk for our stay, which took the pressure off orgainising meals etc. The house itself was well equipped and had a fully stocked kitchen, including plastic plates and cups etc for our toddler. They seemed to have thought of everything! Readers who have small children will know that it is difficult to completely child proof a house and we did have to keep our eyes pealed as we couldn't put our travel child gate on the bottom of the stairs, although there was already one at the top, and the garden, being multi-levelled was a little unnerving with a toddler running around, but other than that we really couldn't fault it. We are already planning on booking again for next year!

“So welcoming” We arrived a little early Tracy was still cleaning the cottage just putting the finishing touch to it-she made us so welcome within the hour she brought still hot flap jacks & milk.We loved our stay at Horseshoe cottage the bed was superb lovely & comfy ?Tracy very kindly brought a seat for me to use in the shower because I struggle to stand for long enough to shower .the cottage was fitted out with everything you need even washing machine so Jean was able to do the wash before coming home always a plus.Our dog Jack was made a great fuss of & the dog belonging to Tracy & Andy became friendly to him both the dogs were of a timid nature.The whole area has much to offer tourists lots to see & do we have been to the region many times & we love it
