A beautiful 3 bedroom home on 20 acres of dramatic Costa Rican countryside which includes jungle, farm land and hiking trails. Situated on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, on a mountain just outside of Herradura, with beautiful sandy beaches and the upscale Los Suenos resort which offers dining, sport fishing and a championship golf course. It is a mere 5 minutes car ride to Los Suenos and the beach, and only 8 minutes car ride to the popular tourist center of Jaco with its tours, restaurants, night clubs, and shops. AutoMercado, a North American style supermarket is 3 minutes away.

Relax and enjoy breathtaking views over the valley and the mountains beyond from the patio and pool. Watch for flocks of budgies, and the sunrise and sunset passage of Scarlet Macaws. Listen for Toucans, and watch Social Flycatchers and Mourning Doves come to bathe. Make your unforgettable vacation in this piece of Costa Rican paradise.

The main house has 2 bedrooms with 2 queen-sized beds, and a common bathroom with shower. There is a large newly renovated kitchen and living room. The 3rd bedroom with its separate entrance, 2 queen-sized beds and en-suite bathroom is new, as is the 30’ long pool with seating area, large covered terrace and double garage. The unique custom made cabinets, the ceilings and paneling throughout the home are made from the dramatic Guanacaste wood that came from this property. The doors are carved by local artisans depicting Costa Rican wild life.

• Air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms, ceiling fans throughout. Bedclothes and towels provided

• New 6 burner gas stove, fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster, all dishware, pots, and utensils.

• Dining seating for 6, 4 chaise lounges, and extra stacking chairs, including some you can take to the beach.

• North American hot water and UV water disinfection system.

• Stereo with 4 internal and 4 external speakers and Internet provided.

• Covered parking for two cars with covered walk way to main entrance.

• Barbeque, pool Jacuzzi seating, and 10 meters pool size- can swim lengths in.

• Our caretaker lives at the bottom of the property. The pool is cleaned daily and any necessary property maintenance is done at no charge. They will clean the house if requested for $10 per hour Please pay them direct.

Suitability: sleeps up to 8, wheelchair access, non-smokers only. Not recommended for very small children due to steep inclines around parts of the property. Pets are OK.

Response from the owner Thank you for the review Candace we are glad you enjoyed our home. Yes the internet is slow being out of town its the fastest we can get. The best time to use it for e mails etc is before 8.30 am after hat it slows depending on the usage in our area.The Movie star TV is on sattelite so that works much better (unfortunately they don't have an internet package). Enjoy the rest of yor stay in Costa Rica. Kind regards John.
