Description

This traditional terraced cottage is in the village of Lelant, near St Ives in Cornwall and can sleep three people in two bedrooms. The Pippin is a charming cottage in the village of Lelant, a short train trip away from St Ives. It offers two bedrooms, one double and one single on the first floor while the living accommodation; sitting room and kitchen are on the ground floor. The shower room with corner shower, hand basin and wc is also on the ground floor.

Outside is a pretty enclosed lawned garden to the rear and road side parking to the front. The Pippin is one cute cottage, is well presented and ideal for a family or group of three friends who wish to explore this delightful part of Cornwall.

Amenities: Electric heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Electricity inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking. One well behaved pet welcome at £20 per week. Sorry, no washing machine. No smoking. Beach 10 minute walk. Pub 100 metres. Shop within 2 miles. Note: Stairs smaller then average tread and a little steeper but has hand rails either side.

Region: Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Town: The village of Lelant sits on the mouth of the Hayle estuary, with a large sandy beach to one side and a narrow strip of sandy coves accompanying the estuary water inland. Ideally placed for sightseeing, where you can jump on the branch line to St Ives for a day trip or drive across to the magical St Michael's Mount in Marazion. With beaches on both coasts easily accessible you will never be stuck for trips to the beach. The closest is Porthkidney Sands which can be reached on foot along the estuary which winds its way through sand dunes to where the River Hayle joins the Atlantic Ocean. Lelant has two pubs, a deli and restaurant and a golf course with outstanding views.
