Description

Villa Galanthus is a traditional stone-built cottage, located in the heart of Listaros village. It is a three-level house of approximately 90 sq. m. Each one of the first and third levels has one autonomous bedroom with a semi- double and a double bed respectively. The second level comprises a living room and a fully- equipped kitchen. The living room has a wonderful fireplace and a sofa which can be transformed into a double comfortable bed. In addition, the cottage has 2 bathrooms equipped with big stone-built shower units. Concerning the external spaces, Villa Galanthus has one large yard in front of the main entrance and a balcony in the third level with a wonderful view to the South Cretan Sea and the mountains of Psiloritis and Asterousia.

Listaros is a small traditional village of South Heraklion, ideal for ultimate relaxation. It’s only 5 km away from the famous beaches of Matala and Komos and 10 km from the isolated uncrowded beaches of Agiofaraggo and Vathi. Additionally, for the ancient-culture admirers, Listaros is only 2 km away from the Ancient city of Festos.

We are going to give you full privacy during your stay. However, whenever you need us we will be very happy to help you in any way possible!

In order to make you feel at home, we will provide you all the bedding and towels you might need during your stay.

Breakfast supplies are included. To be more exact, as you arrive you will find a fridge and a cupboard filled with delicious traditional and continental goodies! Additionally, as a welcome gift we are going to give you a basket containing a bottle of olive oil, a bottle of wine and of course traditional cretan tsikoudia!We are sure that you will love it!

There is not public transportation to our villa. Thus you will need to rent a car - If you like we will be very happy to help you find the best deal. You can safely park the car outside the house.

Response from the owner Dear Roraima, Thank you for your review concerning your recent stay at our villa. The feedback we get from our guests is extremely valuable to us. Regarding your comments about the variable price, as I had already explained to you personally at your arrival, it is our policy (and many others' as well) to give last-minute offers via Booking for the days that have remained unreserved. Additionally, the price for a new-built house of this size is among the lowest ones in this area (Listaros and surrounded villages). In any case, you had also the opportunity to cancel your reservation 30 days before your arrival if you had found a better offer. As for the second bedroom, indeed it does not have a air-conditioner. However the bedroom is quite cool due to its external wall insulation and a pedestal fan is also provided. With much appreciation, George
