This was a wonderful getaway to the Blue Ridge/Shenandoah National Park area. The house was spacious and very comfortable. The view is spectacular, and time on the deck in the morning was almost worth the trip alone. The drive is a bit tricky, but we got used to it quickly. Stores and restaurants in Luray are easily accessible. In short this is the perfect place for a weekend (or longer) getaway from the DC area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our New Year's weekend at the cabin. The cabin was comfortable, clean and stocked with everything needed, except for food. We would definitely recommend this cabin if you are visiting Luray.
The place was great and had everything we needed. Gene was awesome, always replying quickly to questions, and even working with us on early check-in and late check-out. My only suggestion would be to check out the shower head upstairs - was a little all over the place :)
"Accommodations and price was right for the three day stay"

The location and the cabin itself met my expectations. Close enough to restaurants and other amenities such river rafting, canoeing, fishing, hiking, sight seeing. The Luray caverns are close enough and there are places to visit near the location of the cabin, such skyline resort and mountain attractons

We ranged in age from 9 to 93 and we all loved it. You are 11 minutes from lots of activities such as zip lining, horseback riding, waterpark, caverns and food. The cabin is comfortable and well supplied.
