Description

Le Pigeonnier is one in a complex of 6 rural French gites which are purpose-built and restored using traditional materials. The accommodation is situated within a private courtyard, with a separate parking area. Each Gite has its own garden, with a BBQ, dining area and garden furniture. The large private swimming pool comprises a paddling pool (25msq) with a depth of 40cm waterfalling into a large pool (75msq) with a shallow end of 1m and a deep end of 2m, and is shared by the holiday properties. The pool is situated on the edge of the Adour valley with spectacular views of the mountains. The grounds include an ancient chapel, moat & woodlands to explore. There is also a large communal pool in the village of Madiran.

Gite 1 - Le Pigeonnier has 3 bedrooms, a family bathroom, shower room, lounge, dining area and separate fully equipped kitchen, with breakfast area.

The Gite has 3 bedrooms – a large double bedroom with king size bed of 180cm by 200cm bed, leading into a children’s bedroom with handmade oak child’s bed and bunkbeds, a twin room is next to the family bathroom.

Downstairs is a shower room, lounge, dining area and separate fully equipped kitchen, with breakfast area. It is fully insulated, has a log burning stove and underfloor heating making it very cosy in winter. It is ideal for both summer & winter holidays.

In total – 144 square metres (approx 1600 square feet). This Gite is spacious & has plenty of space for additional beds if required.

We are a family orientated location.

Great play area with large sand pit, swings and play house, rugby posts, giant connect four & many other garden games.

“Wonderful place to relax and unwind”

Excellent situation Paulette and Simon made us very welcome and they had prepared a box of groceries for us. There is plenty of space and warm and comfortable especially with the wood burning stove and underfloor heating.
