Luxury villa in superb village location close to the sea.

Makrygialos (long beach) boasts some of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Crete and the crystal clear water of the Lybian Sea. Our villa is just 100 metres from a sandy blue flag beach and within walking distance of the many local tavernas and restaurants of this charming harbour village.

With 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms it is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday with friends or family. Being on a corner plot our villa benefits from an extra large balcony overlooking the sea and equipped for outdoor dining, and a very private roof terrace, again, with stunning sea views. At the rear of the property we have a private walled garden and terrace accessed from the master bedroom.

The spacious 1st floor lounge/diner is light and airy and commands views of the sea, pool and mountains with balconies at the front and rear. Feel the stress unwind with fabulous views at every turn.

At the centrepiece of the development there is a large communal pool with sunbeds and plenty of shade.

The villa is fully air-conditioned and is fitted out to a very high standard. . WIFI internet access is available for a small charge payable locally.

Smart TV and bluetooth music system new in 2023

“Fabulous holiday”

We stayed at The Grapevines, no.5. Couldn't have asked for better accommodation and the complex was lovely. There was everything you could need in there. Theres a front terrace over looking the pool, back terrace and a roof top terrace, with lovely views of the sea from back and roof terrace. The pool is a good size for the 20 properties, there were always enough sun loungers no matter what time you went out to sunbathe. There's a mini market just outside the complex, restaurants nearby too, as well as restaurants and few bars at the harbour. Beaches near by, about 10 mins walk or the beach near the harbour is about 20 to 25 mins walk down an incline. Green beach is lovely and has a limited number of sunbeds but lovely food at the beach bar there. Highly rated on reviews. €6 for 2 sunloungers & shades. The beach in front of sunwing €7 for 2 beds & 1 shade, There's a beach bar there, self service, pre prepared food, salads, sandwiches etc drinks, and a basic snack bar at one end. Beaches near the harbour had free beds if u ate at their beach bar. Food and drinks tend to slightly more expensive.

Beaches at the Mikri Poli Hotel and Sunwing Hotel are also gorgeous and just over the road from the villa. Though I agree, if you want a quiet, natural beach, Green beach is well worth the walk.
