Millstone Cottage No.3 is situated in the countryside,3km from Milford town in Co. Donegal. We are a family business and are established over nine years in the Self Catering sector here in Co. Donegal. We are registered and approved to four star failte Irelands standards and at the moment have a rating of "excellent" on trip advisor with over 46 reviews. Millstone Cottage No.3 sleeps up to 7 guests + an infant. The cottage has the added facility of a six seater hot tub and infra red sauna which is very popular with our guests. The hot tub and sauna are located in an outdoor room at the rear of the cottage. Keep everyone entertained with Fast, unlimited Free Wi-Fi and a large smart TV which also comes with 1000s of channels to choose from.
In the cottage downstairs there is an en-suite bedroom with double bed and upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double and single bed and one twin room. The main bathroom is upstairs with a power shower and corner bath. Downstairs double doors lead onto a spacious decking area with gas B.B.Q.
Outside there is a large playground surrounded by a lovely lawn area. The playground measures 50m x 20m and consists of a large activity center with two towers and three slides and climbing rockwall and ramp for easy access. There is also a lovely wooden swing with safety seat for an infant. And not forgetting the 40m long zip wire which the kids just love!
Millstone Cottages have everything you need to ensure you enjoy a very pleasant and memorable holiday in Donegal. Oil and electric are extra by meter reading.

Double doors from the lounge lead onto a spacious decking area with the same theme continued around the house in the form of an all timber decking footpath. The garden area is spacious where the kids can enjoy themselves and have fun. At night time lanterns on the entrance pillars and driveway provide good lighting.

“Perfect!!!”
We only got home yesterday and I couldn’t wait to get on to write a review. My husband, myself and my twin daughters (aged 11) loved our time away. This cottage was perfect for us, very spacious & spotless!! Unlike many holidays we’ve been on - we never needed to fight over wardrobe space and we even had enough hangers too!! Beds were so comfortable and we all had such a relaxing nights sleep after relaxing in the hot tub every night. The hot tub was all prepared for us coming with clean water and Danny would call during the day to clean away any excess water we had left the night before. Kids really enjoyed the wee play park - this included a zip wire, which entertained my 2 every night. We only had one complaint - the decking had become slightly slippy due to the rain and that very day, Danny was down sorting it out. I would highly recommend these cottages to anyone looking to spend quality time away with family & friends. Danny & Dolores are honestly the most nicest, genuine people we’ve ever met. They are there if you need them but they also respect your privacy too. Danny took my girls to see the donkeys “Jedward” and that just made their holiday. We’ll definitely be back...

“An idyllic setting,excellent facilities and very helpful hosts.”
I would highly recommend millstone cottages number 3. The facilities were excellent the jacuzzi and sauna got plenty of use. The kids climbing frame and zip line was also a favourite. The grounds of the house gave plenty of scope for ball games. The house itself was beautiful and very homely. The beds were very comfortable. As for Danny and Dolores they were very helpful and friendly and advised us of local attractions and places to eat. We very much hope to return.
