Description

Maison de la fontaine is a fully-furnished, newly-renovated, self-catering vacation rental home featuring all modern conveniences, sleeping up to 6 people. Located in the historic heart of old Nérac, in Gascony, South West France, the house is easily reached from Bordeaux or Toulouse via train and is just a short drive to San Sebastian in Spain. It’s the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding wine regions and a great “home base” if you’re exploring the surrounding wine regions!

* Sleeps up to 6 people: One double bedroom on ground floor, one double loft bedroom, one single bed sleeping nook in loft, one sofa bed in living room on ground floor

* Two newly-renovated full bathrooms (showers)

* Open-concept well-equipped kitchen with all mod cons (dishwasher, oven, microwave, stovetop hotplates, coffee maker, toaster, kettle)

* Living area with large dining table and sofa

* Comfortable salon with flat-screen TV (150+ channels, including English-language)

* Cozy patio where you can enjoy your apéro or meal

* Wifi throughout the house (including the outside patio) and telephone with free phone calls to landlines in the US, Canada, Australia, the EU and many other countries (full list available at the house)

* Full-sized washing machine and separate clothes dryer in laundry room

* Free parking in the public square 50 metres from the house

* A short walk across the river to the weekly Saturday market

* Just a couple of blocks from the summer night market

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Mardi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
