Fistral Retreats is a modern luxury 'home from home' fully equipped ground floor apartment boosting stunning views of Fistral Beach, golf course and dramatic Atlantic coastline beyond. One of 22 privately owned apartments, on an exclusive development on the desirable Pentire Headland between the famous Fistral surfing beach, the beautiful River Gannel and the quaint village of Crantock. It is in an area of outstanding beauty in the quieter part of West Newquay. Ideal for families, couples and friends.

The apartment benefits from its own dedicated off-road parking space and beautifully maintained landscaped and fenced grounds.
Built in 2004 it is sunny, airy and spacious. It is heated by gas central heating, all rooms have opening windows and wood laminate or ceramic tiled flooring. Ideal for families, couples and friends who wish to enjoy the luxury of tastefully coordinated quality furnishings and fittings making it a "home from home" and suitable for all year use.
A simple 2 minute walk down a rugged path, or 5 minutes on the pavement, and you are on Fistral Beach. Flat beautiful golden sands and numerous rock pools at either end are a great favourite with children. (Fistral Beach has an RNLI presence from Sping to October.) Either end of Fistral Beach there are cafes/restaurants, surf hire and toilets.
Sit and picnic in the landscaped gardens, relax and enjoy the views, listen to the ocean and smell and feel the freshness of the Cornish air. Or try one of the other 9 beautiful sandy beaches in Newquay.
The Coast Path passes Fistral Retreats which makes it an ideal choice for walking north and south. There are also less arduous gentle walks onto the Pentire Headland, 5 minute walk from Fistral Restreats, with fantastic views and an eaterie (open all day) serving breakfasts, cream teas, lunches and evening meals. Crantock Village with its golden sands and dunes are just a 10 minute walk across the River Gannel footbridge or ferry (in season).
Quiet and peaceful but within walking distance of all the amenities that Newquay has to offer. The vibrant nightlife, shops and supermarkets, numerous eateries offering local Cornish delights as well as dishes from around the world, to suit a vast array of taste buds, are all within easy reach.
For families there are some 9 beaches to choose from as well as a Waterworld, Fun Pool, Zoo, Aquarium, horse riding, lake, Farm World, Pitch and Putt and 4 Screen Cinema, all year round tennis, leisure park, bowling and more within walking distance.
Those seeking an adrenalin rush may prefer surfing at Fistral or one of the other 8 premier surfing beaches. Then there's diving, sea/river canoeing, coasteering, sea/coarse fishing, kayaking, segway, snorkel safari, cage diving with the sharks and much more.
Alternatively, there is the finest all year 18 hole golf course just a 2 minute drive (10-15 minute walk) which is extremely popular with golf enthusiasts. As well as a pitch and putt course on the headland (less than 5 minute walk) and 2 or more in Newquay.
Eat at the Bistro set in the cliffs on the Esplanade directly below Fistral Retreats, or the Lodge at the end of Pentire Headland and watch the sun setting with the ocean lapping below, or pop into one of the hotels nearby. If you fancy a gentle walk along Fistral Beach or the coast path to North Fistral try Rick Steins or the Fish House.
Swimming pools and spas are open to non-residents at neighbouring hotels for a small charge. Ballroom dancing is also available at a local hotel.

Access arrangements sent prior to arrival. Welcome pack on arrival - tea, coffee and milk. Dedicated Parking Permit provided on arrival and must be displayed on the car dashboard/windscreen when parked in Bay16 at all times. You must park within the lines of Bay 16. The Permit must be returned to and left in the key box on departure. Failure to do this will result in small administration charge of £10. Fistral Retreats is on the ground floor set in beautiful landscaped grounds and one of a small secluded complex of 22 private apartments on the beautiful quieter Pentire Headland. It has courtyard access across the grounds from the car park (dedicated parking for one car) via a short flight of shallow steps with handrail.
It benefits from an Open Plan Living area with French Doors from the lounge opening onto lawned grounds. Furnished with two comfy brown leather reclining sofas, nest of oak tables, table lamp, as well as 40" smart flat screen HD TV, Blu ray player, CD Player for Ipod and radio, complimentary Wi-Fi, Play Station 2 with games as well as plenty of books and games.
The Dining area has an oak table and 4 chairs. The Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, Bosch gas hob and electric oven, microwave, toaster, slow cook, George Foreman slow cook, blender, iron/ironing board, matching cutlery and crockery and a wide array of utensils.
In the Main Bedroom there's a luxury 5' King bed, double oak wardrobe, 32" LCD HD flat screen wall mounted TV, 2 oak two drawer bedside cabinets, 2 touch sensitive dimmer lamps, oak chest of 6 drawers, chair, dress and vanity mirrors, hairdryer and an ensuite shower room with heated towel rail.
The Second Bedroom has two 3' zip and link beds that can be converted into a 6' Super King bed, oak double wardrobe, 2 oak two drawer bedside cabinets, 2 touch sensitive lamps, oak chest of 6 drawers, hairdryer, chair, dress and vanity mirrors.
The Family Bathroom has a luxury spa bath with shower over bath and heated towel rail.
All furnishings in the apartment are matching and coordinated to make it a "home from home".

Well maintained complex surrounded by fenced landscaped gardens with an abundance of colour in the summer. The majority of the gardens are secluded and reasonably safe for children.
