Description
The White Cottage is a detached cottage on the shore of Lough Corrib, located 5km from Oughterard and near Aughnanure Castle. It has three en-suite bedrooms, gas central heating and is very well-appointed and equipped with all amenities. An angling centre and the golf club are close by
The cottage is situated on a quiet minor road, with its own 100 metre drive. The garden runs down to the shore of Lough Corrib, with access to the lake. It has a garage and ample parking. Accommodation comprises the main living area / kitchen, 300 sq. feet, with dining suite, three piece suite, Sky TV, DVD, radio and VCR. There is a fireplace with an electric, log-effect stove.
Northward the cottage looks over the lake, while to the south the view is of the hills. The modern fitted kitchen includes electric cooker with oven and grill, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher and normal kitchen equipment, including ample crockery and cutlery for the accommodation.
There is a separate guest toilet off the rear porch, and a washer / dryer in the utility room, off the living room.
There are three bedrooms, one large double bedroom, overlooking the lake, with an en-suite shower and toilet off. There is a twin bedroom, facing south, also with en-suite shower and toilet. The large studio bedroom contains a double and a single bed, WHB, with shower and toilet en-suite. This room has French windows opening towards the lake.
Bed linen and hand and bath towels are provided. Gas and Electricity are charged extra, by meter reading.
The garden is well laid out and maintained to a high standard.

“Fantastic place!”
We absolutely loved our stay here in the White Cottage. It is such a quiet, peaceful spot which is really private and safe for the kids. Everything was perfectly clean and convenient. There is plenty to do in the local area and we had a great mix of activity and relaxation to the holiday. I would definitely recommend a stay here!
