Description

Originally a mill worker’s cottage, No. 2 Mill Road has been innovatively rebuilt to create a modern studio apartment. Upstairs is an open plan living area opening through a stable door onto a small terrace. The kitchen is well-equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, and full range of saucepans, crockery and cooking utensils. A dining bar overlooks the spacious bay window. Great for people watching!

The sitting area has a large sofa which can be opened out into a sofa bed should more than two people wish to stay in the cottage. Downstairs is a bedroom with twin beds, which can be made up as a double, and a shower room with hand basin and lavatory. A back door opens into a courtyard which has access to Parnall’s Court, a private lane joining Mill Road with Lanadwell Street.

Being coastal the Camel Estuary has its own micro-climate with some gorgeous sunny days in summer and winter. However, if it does rain the studio is an extremely cosy place to hide out with flat screen TV, DVD player and books for entertainment, central heating for warmth – and excellent access to all Padstow’s pubs! Free WIFI is also available.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not 5 Star accommodation. We consider No.2 to be 3 Star. We are not owned by Rick Stein. This is a former mill workers cottage and so the bedroom and shower room are small. We have done our best to make the most of the space and we hope you enjoy it. It's great value for the centre of Padstow!

During the summer season we are only able to offer full week bookings. Out of season we are happy to take short lets, so please always ask we and will help with any bookings whenever we can. We also have 3 other cottages available for rent in the same location. Some or all can be booked together at a discount for large groups. No.12 Broad St sleeps 4, No.5 Mill Road sleeps 4 and No.10 sleeps 6. Please go to our website for more details.

All bedding, towels and tea towels are included in the price. Should you wish to bring your own, please let us know and we may be able to offer you a discount on the rent.

“It does what it says on the tin”

perfect location a two minute walk from the harbour. Quite small but for that price in the middle of Padstow it was great. Don't take too many clothes as wardrobe space is limited. A little worried about backing on to the chip shop but needn't have been smelt the bakery before the chip shop .would definitely book again.
