Description
Courtneys Studio Lodge is surrounded by 10 acres of beautiful grounds with stunning views out towards Dartmoor and surrounding countryside. The Lodge has its own small walled garden (not totally enclosed) to retain the views. A perfect place to relax in the sunshine with a glass of wine at the end of a day. We have exceptionally dark skies here at night, making star gazing something very special indeed.
The Lodge has open plan living - kitchen (with full size electric cooker and fridge freezer) dining table, lounge area with TV and full size wall bed which returns into the specially designed fitted cupboard, if you require more space. The en-suite bathroom has an electric shower. Free wi-fi.
We are located 1/2 miles outside Pensilva village where there is a general store, selling fresh local produce, newspapers, cigarettes and alcohol. If you go to the top of the village (approx 1.5 miles) you will find yourself on Bodmin Moor where you will see the moorland cattle, ponies and sheep that are free to wander. A fabulous Farm Shop and Cafe here too.
Very central location for travelling around Cornwall. Nearest beach 7 miles, Eden Project 15 miles, Plymouth 18 miles, Truro 35 miles

“Great place!”
This is a great place to come and visit. It is out of the way in the countryside, you will need a car though. Good central location for visiting many areas. The cottage is lovely inside with everything needed for a stay plus great access to tv channels and internet. There is plenty of space for walking including a beautiful woodland area for walking the dog. Possibly the best part of it are the owners themselves. Jaqcuie can’t do enough for you and was always just at the other end of a text message for any need (not that there was any need). Good stuff

“Courtney's Studio Lodge”
Just back from 5 nights at this lovely studio lodge and I'm missing it already. Situated in Pensilva village, ideal for getting out and seeing Cornwall. Jacquie and Roger were lovely hosts, the lodge was secluded and quiet, the horse and pony delightful, as was Butterfly Wood. Our dog Lola loved it all too. I want to go back!
