Sunset Mountain Casitas are located right off the 101 and Cave Creek Rd. for a very convenient but private location. Experience the beauty and charm of the Southwest nestled into Boulder Ridge Mountain Range, Sunset Mountain Casitas overlook the lights of the Valley of the Sun. Relax above the hustle and bustle of city life, with all of its convieniences just minutes away. We are dedicated to making your stay memorable, comfortable and fun, insuring your Arizona vacation is one that you will repeat. Take a safe, short journey upward through the mountainius terrain into the natural setting. These 4 vacation homes are fully furnished and have a unique theme and look, located near shopping centers. golf courses, and the quaint town of Cave Creek & Carefree. the unique homes offer tremendous views and awesome sunsets within the Metro area. The Ranchero (rust color, bottom) has a western decor. Sit around the fire or in the spa overlooking the city lights. Casita The Parlor set right below The Ranchero. is a studio. If you need more space for an extra fee you can rent The Parlor, just a stairway below The Ranchero. Repeat customers are many, so I know you won't be disappointed. We even have private trails!!
Sunset Mountain Casitas: The dwelling is nestled into a lush desert mountain environment and offers fantastic views of the valley below. **Casita Ranchero** sleep 4 or 6 with approximately 1200 sq. ft. of furnished living space. This two bedroom, provides a king size beds in both bedrooms and a pull out couch in the living room. A handicap bathroom off one bedroom and another 3/4 bathroom off the other master, also a 1/2 bath off the living room. **Casita Mirage** middle house, has a king size bed, plus a outside shower by the tub, and yes there is a shower inside too! **Casita Margarita** has a select Comfort King bed. One bath with a shower. The Parlor is an 1890's western parlor sleeps 2 with a king size bed. All the great rooms in all 4 casitas have surrounding windows to view the beautiful mountains and lights. They all have several patios and decks and secluded spa overlooking the valley below! Additional features are BBQ grills, firepit or Chimenea. Walk the private trails around and through our mountain for a little exercise. All have full kitchens with every convenience. Enjoy a private setting but convenient to freeways & activities. We rent daily, weekly or monthly.. Prices vary for seasons, size and special events, -Activities: Several public golf courses close by. Shopping at malls indoor and outdoor or the quaint town of Cave Creek just minutes away. Swimming in public pool during the summer months about 15 minutes away. Skiing in the winter in Flagstaff about 2 hours away, Sedona 1 1/2 hours, Prescott 1 1/4, Jerome 2 hours. Any of those great day trips. Even the Grand Canyon (4 hrs.), you are on the right side of Phoenix for all visits to great places in Arizona.

“Fabulous sunsets!”

Because our casitas are so very popular during our peak season we try to allow for maintenance, deep cleaning and upgrades a few times a year in the off season. Necessary repair, general cleaning are done immediately after a guest moves out, of course unless something calls for more, or is brought to our attention. It is true if staying at our casitas which sets up on the mountain with the top house being the 3rd highest house in Phoenix, you do have to go to the bottom of the mountain to walk the neighborhood. However there is a trail on the mountain,which is accessible from each casita, but it does means you will have to adventure up and down the mountain. The views I believe are great, not only looking over streets and freeways, housing developments but mountain views everywhere possible. At night I really like to the city light view with all the houses lite up. Because our location is in the city, in a neighborhood you are going to get views of everything within a city! But it does allow quick access to golf, shopping, stores etc. and is still private.

Response from the owner So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the review and the 4 star rating! The desert nights are great in Phoenix, no humidity which allows for comfortable evening. Getting out of a hot tub or pools you can even feel cold! Please come back and bring your friend, as we now have added an additional bathroom, so both bedrooms can be called "masters". We even made it handicap accessible! With the completion of The Parlor, which is like a guest house directly below The Ranchero you can have 6 to 8 people staying together. The Parlor is also available as a stand alone studio rental. Hope to see you again ................soon! Fran
