Description
Welcome to “The Deck”, one of the larger detached properties at the Bay.
At this stylish, nautically-themed home away from home, snuggle down into the cosy sofas with a book, or unwind on the 12 metre long first floor terrace, which catches the sun from first thing in the morning until late in the afternoon. Follow the sun around to our south-westerly facing secluded and sheltered pretty patio/garden where you can BBQ, dine out and watch the sun go down over the distant coastal hills surrounding Polperro.
The bright and spacious open-plan living area has direct access onto the patio/garden, via French windows, giving you lots of options to relax and play. There are plenty of games and books for more fun in the evenings after the last swim of the day. Enjoy a drink at the breakfast bar in the large well-equipped kitchen area.
There are three good sized bedrooms, all with luxury full sized beds sleeping up to six adults with ease. There are two with en-suite shower rooms on the first floor, both with sliding doors onto the terrace, and the third, on the ground floor has an adjacent full sized bathroom. This, together with level access and adjacent parking makes it ideal for those who find steps a struggle.
The Deck caters for all ages and needs even the pooch can come too, if well-behaved!

"We have just returned from a beautiful stay at House 19, the Bay Talland. The house was spotless and had everything you could need whilst you are away from home. There was even a cornish cream tea waiting for us on arrival, which was a lovely touch.
We didnt get round to using the Pool, but it looked very nice. The owners who look after The Bay Talland are very friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they certainly go the extra mile. My parents asked for an extra pillow and they were straight up with three extra pillows."

“A real treat”
The Bay at Talland's location fosters good coastal walks to Looe or the other way to Polperro. A feeling of being away from the rat race. Our eco- house was lovely, well furnished, plenty of room and a good kitchen. Excellent WiFi as well. The staff were friendly and left us alone to get on with it which I like. No shop on site but again it just adds to that getting away from it all feeling and means shopping needs to be planned. Would we go again? Absolutely.

“Great weekend break at Talland Bay”
Weekend stay to celebrate my son's 30th Birthday. 8 in our party including our baby grand-daughter and Charlie the dog! our friends stayed in the adjacent house. Great house, very well equipped and comfortable. Especially helpful to have 3 bath/shower rooms. Standard of furnishing etc very good. Complex is also very good and the reception staff very helpful. Fantastic swimming pool and sauna which was enjoyed by us all. you can walk out of the complex down a ( very) steep hill and you get down to the beach at Talland Bay, rocky cove, and from there you can walk over the cliffs via the S W coast path to Polperro. it's quite a walk and steep in places but with fantastic scenery along the way. All in all a very lovely weekend.

“fabulous place to stay”
Number 19, was a comfortable, informal and brilliant holiday let. Most little details had been thought about and it worked for 2 families with 4 children! The Bay Talland is a lovely complex, lots of room for the children to bike about in safety, the swimming pool was a great hit, the staff very friendly and helpful and the cleanliness in the communal grounds were great. Would thoroughly recommend this holiday let, you will not be dissapointed!
