“Tranquil and serene” We went in winter so there was a nice crisp layer of sparkly snow, the moon was full, adding to this there was the comfort of underfloor heating and all mod cons, including a indoor swimming pool which has lovely windows looking on to the garden. With it being central, there were lots of nice scenery and quaint villages to visit. Not far from the coast either. The family have a lama in an adjacent field and two ponies which we loved feeding them apples and carrotts. Perfect relaxing getaway. Lovely owners whom we hardly saw. 5 star. Kindest Reguards Lisa.

“Lovely Place, Highly Recommended” The spotless, cosy and roomy accommodation was ideal for our family of two adults and two teenage boys. We enjoy the outdoors and the location of the property was ideal for this. Good mountain biking routes set off from the cottage and several Munros and smaller hills were easily accessible from the cottage. If you want peace and space to explore the cottage is ideal, and even has a large porch for muddy wet gear. Anyone looking for lively attractions visitor's centres, nightlife and entertainment would be disappointed though. Aviemore, with its supermarket, pubs restaurants, clay pigeon shooting and other outdoor pursuits is only a few miles away.

“Total relaxation...” This was just what the doctor ordered, the home provides everything you need. The location we knew with visiting the area for years and was why we chose here, but it was the first time at this address. With the new Costcutter store over the rail line, shopping was just a short walk so no need for the car. The one thing I did not like was the guy came to cut the grass during our stay, luckily we were out that afternoon. But had we been sat in the garden or house we would not have had the privacy we were there for ? I suggest the grass gets cut in the hours between guest check out & next guest check in ?

South Laggan house

“peaceful and yet fantastic to be outdoors and enjoy the spectacu” Staying at the Creag-Na-Sanais was a great choice. Peaceful , fantastic scenery and really family friendly. The cottage is kitted out with everything you need. The family who own it made us feel really welcome, but also left us to enjoy our holiday. Our little boy loved seeing and hearing the cows and sheep on their farm everyday. You cant just pop out to a shop, there's a fair bit of driving involved in the highlands but that's the beauty of the Scottish Highlands and around the Cairngorms. The roads are great. There is a fantastic remoteness up in the highlands , we did travel around to lots of different places and did a lot of driving. But it suits us as a family to explore and have that freedom to do so. We love Scotland. Coming from a beautiful part of the country already - cornwall, its a totally different feel and well worth visiting.
