Description
'Aloni' is an old farmhouse carved in the rock of a small hill in a land of 4000m2. It was recently renovated with the utmost respect to the original structure and the environment.
The house has three independent entrance doors providing autonomy to each of its three main rooms allocated on a single storey with slight elevations. The MAIN BEDROOM (18 m2) has a queen bed built of stone and a private bathroom. The SALA (21 m2) consists of a big room with a double futon bed and a single, stone-built bed (no private bathroom) and a smaller area which is arranged as fully functional, equipped KITCHENETTE. Sala communicates with the master bedroom through a smaller room, the NEST (6 m2), with a single bed. KATOGAS, is an old cave four steps below the Sala. It serves as a sitting area (20 m2) or a bedroom with a bell shaped twin bed, a single, stone-built bed and a private bathroom. A rooftop fixed glass contributes bright sunlight in the room and its second door leads to the sea-garden.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The house has 3 main rooms (as above). If you wish to use one of the rooms as a sitting/dining area then max occupancy is 5 or 6 persons. If on the other hand you prefer to enjoy the outdoor sitting and dining areas, you may use the 3rd room as a bedroom as well and thus increase occupancy to 9 persons (please consult the precise GROUND PLAN published with our photos for a better view).
The SEA-GARDEN, planted with colorful shrubs and native cedar trees, is furnished with an original sitting area designed in the shape of a traditional threshing floor (Grk. Aloni). It is an ideal place to marvel at beautiful sunsets and the sea (100 m). At a convenient place close to the house we have formed a shaded patio with a big table for 8 persons which serves as a dining area. Close-by, there is an EXS Vario CampinGaz BBQ available to all our guests.
Built the traditional way, a few steps off the main entrance, the additional OUTDOORS WC with a shower, is accessible to our guests and it is ideal for a refreshing shower after the beach.
BREAKFAST is not included but throughout your stay we provide various local delicacies that will make your vacation more enjoyable (i.e. coffee, tea and cacao for beverage as well as various local products like barley rusks, jam, cheese, fruits and other seasonal goodies)

“A paradise on earth”
Unforgettable holidays in a beautiful ambient house. The "Aloni" is the perfect place for a group of friends that want to have fun without being disturbed and without disturbing anyone. We were able to gather sometimes inside the house in the so special "katoga" and other times in the backyard or in the outdoors sitting area "aloni" which was ideal for groups of friends. Party till dawn, without anyone telling us to be quiet! We were not only satisfied, but thrilled with everything. We wish we could have stayed more. If, however, you have no means of transportation, you may find moving around difficult.

“An oasis of tranquillity”
The house was so beautiful and convenient that we found it hard to leave and wander around the island! We were two couples with three children, we stayed seven days and felt at home from the first moment. The kids loved it, they played safely around the farm while we sunbathed in the sitting area "aloni", we hanged out at the heavenly "katogas" to cool off or cooked in its so convenient kitchen. Lovely spaces decorated with taste and style, hospitable people, tranquillity, perfect beaches close by - you can even walk there - and the majestic Pollonia for shopping, swimming and eating. We highly recommend it.
