Description
Tarfside is a renovated 3-bedroom ground-floor former stable house located in the centre of Ascog Bay with superb views across the Clyde towards the Cowal Peninsula. This tastefully decorated apartment is well-suited for families or couples with its close proximity to Ascog beach and the Bute shoreline - offering a peaceful and relaxing stay in a tranquil seaside location.
Guests enter the grounds into a shared drive and parking area and the apartment is accessed through the rear of the house. The rear of the property is accessed through a wooden gate and the entrance to the apartment is directly ahead. The garden seen to the right is exclusive to the apartment and available for guests to use.
Entering the apartment is through the enclosed porch and there are two doors leading into the house. Once inside, the entire apartment is all one level. Starting at the far end of the property there is a good size working kitchen which is fully fitted and very well equipped will all modern appliances. Following on from the kitchen is a small cloak room with toilet and wash-hand basin.
Opposite the kitchen guests will find the large living room with dining area. Guests can unwind and spend their evenings in front of the gas fire playing games or relaxing in front of the television. The dining table seats 6 and is positioned in front of the window where guests can enjoy views onto Ascog Bay.
From the living room there is a long hallway which leads to all three front facing bedrooms, a hallway cupboard for coats and shoes and the main bathroom at the end.
The first bedroom is a well-presented twin bedroom with two full size single beds and a range of drawers. After this room is the second bedroom which is a double room with double bed, large double wardrobe and bedside tables.
The master bedroom is at the end of the apartment and is generous in size with a king size bed, en-suite shower room, built in closet and free-standing drawers. The en-suite has a walk-in electric shower, wash-hand basin and w.c.
Finally, the main family bathroom is modern and bright with a shower over bath, wash-hand basin and w.c.
The entire property is all one level with just one step up to access the property, making it ideal for guests who have reduced mobility.

“Another great stay”

Great place for 2 adult couples and 2 young kids. Plenty of space, very comfy. Brilliant location, very convenient for Rothesay, but lovely and quiet.

“Lovely accommodation with nice views”
Lovely big ground floor flat with great views across the bay. Not far out of Rothesay and very central if you have a car. Very clean and central heating worked well on chilly evenings. Would recommend flat for a family.
