Description
In a tranquil setting amongst stunning mountans and forest Strathlachlan Lodge is a delightful luxury property of an excellent standard and quality with the original part of the building over 300 years old and sits in it's own grounds with large gardens and is detached and completely private.
The property has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard with high pressure showers ,underfloor heating and has wood paneling thoughout .and each room has been individually tastefully decorated to create a relaxing comforting atmosphere. There are 3 bedrooms ,2 bathrooms a very large lounge with log burner and large dining kitchen with professional range cooker and TV snug with all rooms having wonderful views out over open countryside.
For 2021 we have added at mini spa which has changing area a Finnish sauna ,relaxation room with loungers, indoor and outdoor showers and outdoor high spec (96jet) 6 pers hot tub all with views to nature perfect for relaxation .
There are many wonderfull walks directly from the lodge with an abundance of wildlife including deer,grouse, pheasants and even golden eagles to see and this part of Argyll has some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery.
The lodge is located in the hamlet of Strathlachlan on East Loch Fyne which is 8 cottages.with the actual lochside 1 mile alway and the local village of Strachur with shops hotel etc only a 5 min drive away and we also have a artisan restaurant just two miles away. For exploring the west coast the location is perfect and Glencoe and Oban are also both within easy reach.

“Highly recommended!!”
My family and I booked this property for a relaxing retreat and it did not disappoint, surrounded by stunning sceneries (no matter the weather), plenty walks that tell you the histories which my children absoloutley loved, although in a peaceful location local amenities were a stone throw away. The House itself was stunning every room has its own personalty with its quirky decor which made it so warm and homely and of course the spa , icing on the cake, clearly a very high end sauna and hot tub which we all had the luxury to enjoy every night. Mark was a wonderful host, although we did not meet him personally, ( as he wants you to enjoy your privacy), he was always in touch to make sure we had all we needed and there was not a thing this property did not have. I could go on about the joys of Strathlachlan lodge however it must be experienced to appreciate. Thank you so much Mark from all of us xxxx

We reject and refute this review in its entirety and consider the thrust and content to be grossly exaggerated highly misleading and completely disingenuous. This charming group (including the writer of our only other bad review on here )stayed in Feb 19 and during the same week also stayed with, are related to and (as she clearly states ) spent there entire time at our nearest competitors property ..accordingly need I say more about the real motive here ! The reality of our fine property is of course the polar opposite and wonderful luxurious Strathlachlan lodge is without doubt one of the very best holiday rental properties in Argyll which we always maintain and present in excellent condition. The Lodge has been significantly upgraded redecorated and improved since all the pictures were taken and is now better than ever with BT infinity hi speed WIFI .Sonos sound system underfloor heating as our many happy guests and 4star reviews on here and 10s on booking.com confirms . Please read our other bonafide reviews from other genuine honest guests and thereafter we look forward to welcoming you to Strathlachlan lodge and assure you of a wonderful stay.
