Description
A beautifully fully renovated 18th century detached gite located in a small hamlet just 300m from the river Charente, with its own private patio and BBQ area. Set in the large secluded pretty garden of La Basse Pommeraie with private parking.
2 light and airy double bedrooms, 1 with a king-size bed. An open plan living area with a traditional wood burning stove and a fully equipped modern kitchen a separate laundry area and a large family shower room.
Outside there is a large private terrace with seating and barbecue area.
within the gardens there is a badminton net and ample space for ball games.

Response from the owner I was very surprised and disappointed to read this review. I thought the matter had been resolved via our emails. You admitted to accidentally breaking the chair. Your damage deposit WAS returned minus £25 for the chair. This is the first time I’ve had to keep any part of a damage deposit. There have been very few previous breakages but,those that have occurred were resolved amicably during the guests stay. I am at a loss as to how you found dog mess in your part of the garden as my dog was kept in a separate enclosed private garden for your entire stay. If this was the case why on earth didn’t you tell me, I would have seen to it immediately. I am very sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay , I work very hard to keep my bright modern gîte immaculate both inside and out and do my best to ensure that all my guests are happy. I believe my 10 previous reviews to be a true reflection of my gîte and myself.
