Description
In the historic centre of Uzes, on a pedestrianised street adjacent to the castle, this is a strikingly attractive, beautifully restored and tastefully furnished medieval stone house with interesting architectural features. Light, elegant and spacious with magnificent views, including of the castle and Uzes' other medieval towers.
The vaulted ground floor has an entrance hall, library/living area (which can also be used as a fourth bedroom), WC and small courtyard with fountain.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (double + double/twin + single), a family bathroom and two separate shower/wet rooms.
The second floor has a living room/'salon', a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a delightful den-study-living area and a WC on the third floor.
Central heating, broadband, satellite TV. Local visitor information provided. A private garage ten minutes' walk away is included. Although on a pedestrianised street there is car access to the house for loading/unloading (e..g. shopping) and parking thirty yards away in Place du Duche (Castle Square).
