Description from owner

Description

Come and stay in this stunning one bedroom Victorian period apartment on a tree lined, leafy residential street in the historical Kilmainham/Inchicore district of Dublin 8. The apartment itself is made up of a large open plan living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is a one bedroom but comfortably sleeps five with a double and single bed in the bedroom and a double pull out sofa bed in the living room.

There is a large bathroom with twin basins and a power shower that is perfect after a long day sightseeing in Dublin Town.

As a base, it could not be more perfect for those wishing to visit the sites of Dublin. Just a short walk from the Dubline, Dublin Discovery Trail, close to Kilmainham Gaol, IMMA, Phoenix Park, and the must-see Dublin institution the Guinness Brewery! The great public transport links will take you to the heart of town in a mere 15 minutes. Yet the peaceful nature of Tyrconnell Raad will ensure a calm place to retreat back to after a long day of sightseeing. Relax in these beautiful surroundings and experience what it is like to live as a true Dubliner!

Homely, clean, spacious and carefully furnished, your stay here will be one of luxury. Warm and welcoming, the flat boasts high ceilings, oak flooring, and an array of classic Victorian architectural details. The large bay window pours sunlight into the glorious reception room. Enjoy a meal at the dining table in the bay window overlooking the world go by. Snuggle up on the sofa with a good book, or relax in front of the tv. On a cold winter's night, enjoy the warmth and glow of the open fire.

The apartment is fully equipped with all the conveniences of the modern world! super-speed wifi internet, automatic central heating, washing machine and clothes dryer, steam iron and ironing board, and a fully equipped kitchen, complete with fridge, hob, oven and dishwasher. Towels and bed linen are also provided, and for those longer stays, a complementary weekly cleaning service and bed linen change is offered.

The benefit of staying in a Dublin 'village' such as Inchicore, is that you have all amenities collected in one area, and right on your doorstep too. A two minute stroll down the road from the apartment is an array of local supermarkets, independent restaurants, traditional pubs, and all the ameneties one requies should you wish to unwind away from the city centre. The area is not short of green open spaces and woodlands too with the War Memorial Gardens just a 10 minute stroll and the Grand Canal with swans a plenty . For a bit of culture there are fringe theatres close by, such as Vicar St.

Dublin is a vibrant city encompassing far more than just the tourist central area of the Temple Bar and the City. Away from the heart of the capital many of the old villages engulfed by the tide of urban expansion have survived to form fascinating and attractive suburbs. Inchicore is one of these, and adjoining this is Kilmainham the location of much of Irelands historic journey to independence. A visit to these local areas can really compliment a trip to Dublin.

Arriving from abroad, Dublin airport is a direct bus ride to Heuston Staion (Dublin's main train staion), and from there, a short trip on the Luas (Dublin's Tram)which makes it the easiest and cheapest to get here.

Being only 10 minutes away from Heuston Railway Station, makes getting to and from oither parts of Ireland super quick and easy. We have secure onsite parking to the rear at no extra charge and free WIFI. For your added convenience we have a cell phone available by request.

Well, if any of the above sounds like it could be exactly what you would like to get out of a trip to Dublin, check my online calendar, see if the price is right for your budget, and get in touch. I look forward to having you stay at Tigh Tirconaill apartments.....
