Description
Villa Viglakia is a small family business run by Philippe and his wife Carina who live on the premises. We welcome visitors all year round.
Villa Viglakia is in the exclusive area of Santa Maria, which is in the North of Paros and arguably the most picturesque part of the island. The house is named after the small hill it is situated on (Viglakia = small vantage point) and within easy reach of a number of beautiful sandy beaches. On a clear day you can easily see the islands of Naxos, Mykonos, Ikaria and Ios, as well as a number of lesser known Aegean islands.
Villa Viglakia is set within 4000m2 of land, featuring a well kept garden that is beautifully lit at night with a BBQ. We are at the heart of a protected area with Natura 2000 status, surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. There is no through traffic as the house is at the end of a private road, overlooking the sea. It comprises of 5 different size apartments, sleeping 2-6 people.
This apartment has a fully rennovated bathroom (rennovation 2016) in the modern cycladic style.
This apartment has a separate bedroom with twin beds that are pushed together and an spacious open plan living/kitchen area with a built in single bed, as well as two patios. One patio is in the garden and the other in the beautiful private courtyard of the hotel. The apartment has air conditioning and Wi-fi and a fully equipped kitchen. Cot available on request.
Breakfast is not included in the room rates but can be provided on request for a small additional charge.
Villa Viglakia has a children's swimming pool. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times as there is no life guard.
There is a large private car park on the grounds of the hotel.
No additional guests other than the guests which were booked at time of reservation.
Villa Viglakis, if booked as a whole, is also ideal to accommodate the guests of small wedding parties. There is a double apartment for the Couple with a private entrance upstairs (there is room for a child, if needed) and up to 19 wedding guests can share the four larger apartments which are in the same Villa downstairs.
The hotel grounds, garden and all apartments were fully renovated in Spring 2014.
