Description
Maison Caramany is a beautifully renovated and furnished house with two sun terraces located in the small and idyllic hilltop village of Caramany (pop 150). River swimming, the Med, Cathar castles, wine touring and Perpignan airport are all less than 1hr away. Maison Caramany is ideal for those looking to relax and unwind, but excellently located as a base for activities in area.

- The ground floor has a living room with large and comfortable sofa bed. Privacy is good, making it viable for adult use. There is a collection of over 50 films, dozens of books including on the area, and plenty of games for adults and children alike. The dining table can comfortably accommodate 6 people or 8 for good friends. Also on this floor is the kitchen, WC and Big bedroom (double) with its own lounge area for reading or watching films.
- The first floor has the Middle bedroom (double) with its own sink unit, the Small bedroom (single) with an extra pull out bed and the large bathroom with both a deliciously comfortable bath and a stylish shower room. Leading off the bathroom is a south facing terrace.
- The second floor has another larger terrace.

- The larger terrace on the second floor is where you will happily spend a lot of your time. Sunny and with a fabulous view of the village, it has a table, 6 chairs and a parasol, plus a barbecue.

“Quality French experience”
This village house is really perfect for a taste of French village life in a great region to explore. We particularly liked the roof top patio but in reality the whole place was well renovated, homily and a joy to spend a break in. We went for walks to the lake a drove to a few of the local villages Gino suggested for good food. We stayed 4 days but could have stayed at least a week, Gino was helpful and we have great memories of this 4 days of our break. This is a place worth booking and a region with magis villages and castles worth exploring.

“Wonderful region”
Stayed in the House for 3 weeks, it was simply great. The beds might be a little small for tall people, but that is normal in France ;-).

“Authentic France in beautuful location”
We had a wonderful holiday ,our first visit to France .Caramany is a lovely quiet village in a beautiful location.Maison Caramany has all the comforts of home.The standards of cleaning were excellent .The house is a good mix of original features and modern styling.The description of the house ,village and surrounding areas on the website are accurate .The service we received from the initial enquiry to the end of our holiday was excellent .We will definitely return.

“Authentic old France unspoilt in every way”
Had a wondeful stay at Maison Caramany, a beautifull dwelling in an unspoilt village in the south of France. We arrived to find a small village at the top of a green valley with simply breathtaking views, the house was easy to find and was equiped with everything we needed for our holliday. The local wine was superb and very cheap maybe we had a little too much! The local villagers were very helpfull in terms of what to see and where to go which made our stay all the more pleasurable. Very close to the Spanish border unfortunately we didnt hire a car so were unable to visit but perfectly situated should you wish to do this

“Super memories”
Really nice place, quiet and peaceful with the sea a short walk away. The villa was spacious and really clean and Gino the owner was really helpful in all communications and guidance. The locals very really nice and helpful too. I would highly recommend staying in this villa.
