Description
Tucked away in the Gatine countryside is a gem called LE GRAND BOIS.
20 mins from Historic Parthenay and about 15 mins from the tiny medieval towns of Airvault and St-Loup Marie, character villages like Gourge and St Generoux. The accommodation is on one level and has electric central heating throughout and FREE WIFI. The bedroom has twin beds and ample storage. The double sofa-bed in the Lounge is a good size and comfortable. The Lounge/Diner has English and French TV/DVD. Radio/CD/Cassette Player and a selection of DVDs, Games and Books. The well-equipped Kitchen Area has lots of storage, a mini-oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster and washing machine. Tea towels, washing powder and cleaning materials are provided as well as a dinner service for 6 people. The recently renewed Shower Room has a basin and toilet, storage and a comfortably-sized shower. Bed linen is included . Towels for hire.
French windows from the lounge open onto a spacious garden with 5m diameter and 1m deep POOL for the use of guests only, BBQ, Garden Furniture, Sun Loungers and a selection of games for the garden and pool are available. Relax with a glass of wine by the pool, dine alfresco in the garden and enjoy the tranquility.
However, the variety of possibilities for enjoyment nearby may surprise you. Whether it is historic monuments and towns that interest you. Exploring quaint places of character; visiting Local Markets; Local Fetes and Festivals. Maybe Gardens are your passion?Theme Parks and Animal Parks for the family; Sport Activities like Golf, Fishing, Walking, Cycling, Riding, Water sports. Do you enjoy Horse Racing or Motor Sports? All are possible!
