Description

Gelli Hir Farm holiday cottage is a converted detached stone barn situated on a 70 acre equestrian holding with outstanding views over the surrounding countryside.

The cottage is a self contained unit which sleeps 4/6 people, with ample off road parking and open spaces for children.

The cottage is based in a quiet rural area but close to shopping centres, tourist attractions and castles.

“Beautiful cottage”

Lovely accommodation with beautiful views. The cottage has all essential facilities and is within reasonable travelling distance to amenities and many attractions. We enjoyed the log burner. Instructions were clear in the manual. Thankyou Catherine, it was lovely to see your personal touches to make the cottage nice and cosy.

“Wonderful”

Wonderful and beautiful my children loved it. We went during the monsoon ☔ . So we made full use of the cosy cottage. I was able to wash my kids muddy clothes and tumble dry everything. We never once locked the cottage door when going out exploring. The stable in the farm made the cottage perfect.

“Ideal location for exploring Pembury Country Park and West Wales”

We enjoyed staying at Gelli hir Farm. We had a Wedding in Swansea which was only 45 mins away. We were also able to explore Pembury country park and the beaches by foot and by horse. Folly Farm and Bluestone were a hit with the children and we visited Kidwelly Castle and Carmarthen. Catherine was very helpful and the children enjoyed visiting the horses at the farm on a daily basis with Honey a particular favourite. A great time was had by all in a lovely part of Wales in an idyllic barn/cottage. Thankyou !

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Catherine (the owner) a message.

If Catherine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
