Description

At the foot of Les Baux de Provence in the village of Paradou, in the heart of Provence, France (ideal for day trips to all recommended towns and sites)

Step outside for morning croissants and nourriture for picnic lunches, found just at the corner of the street. Reserve some mealtimes to join townsfolk at the nearby renowned, stoned-walled Le Bistrot du Paradou—lamb,aioli mayonnaise, aubergines par excellent.

Off site, wend your way through olive groves and vineyards, marveling at the rock formations that typify this part of the limestone Alpilles, to the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence nearby. Other days, strike out in any direction—perhaps to swim at the public pool in Maussane or sunbathe at Les Saintes Maries de la Mer--or to tour St. Remy, Gordes, Bonnieux, Arles, Avignon,Nimes.

But come home each evening to your peaceful nest in Paradou. In warm weather, fling wide the windows to overlook the inviting public garden across the street; when it’s cold, stoke up the massive fireplace and uncork a bottle from local Cave Vignoble Saine Berthe. You’ll find yourself refreshed to plan yet another day in a niche of the storied world that can only be Provence.

Response from the owner Thanks for your comment, the house was clean but an old house has not the perfect standard as a new one , and I clean it after each guest as you know .....Not cleaned by the guest on departure . Usually guest calls me prior arrival as a lot of them are delayed , I was not far from there As I live in Paradou I arrived on the check out appointment decided by you very early in the morning but you were gone leaving the house open with the keys on the table that I found quiet unfair. Any way , review are necesserary, for the location of the apartment in the middle of every where
