“Great location, will be back to ski again!”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2013

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your Okemo House. It is really lovely, very comfortable and most welcoming. Our 30 age group kids loved the hot tub and the 3 1/2 year old grand child was so happy with the games. I had forgotten how many times Candy Land can be enjoyed by a young one... We had some fresh snow that allowed us all to ski together. Hans and I, as 70 y/o's, have given up the double blacks but the fresh snow was forgiving and we had many 'family runs'. All together we made some fine memories and our thanks to you for helping to make it happen.

“Great spot for a relaxing vacation!”

What a fantastic find! We came here for a ski trip with friends and had a blast. You can't beat the location...and the shuttle bus that stops at the driveway! We actually ended up walking to the base lodge it was that close. The house itself was very spacious and well maintained. The hot tub is amazing, especially after a day on the mountain. Can't wait to come back and do some hiking this fall!

“The Perfect Vermont Getaway”

Reviewed 21 May 2013

When I visit Vermont in winter, I tend to go with a mixed crowd. Part of our group are avid skiers/snowboarders, the other part (well, me) are not. This house allows you to experience the best of both worlds, with something for everyone. Situated on top of the mountain (within walking distance to the lodge and with a shuttle that can pick you up right outside the front door), it's in the absolute perfect location for those who like to lace up their boots and hit the slopes. For anyone not playing snow bunny for the day, you are smack dab in the middle of Okemo with plenty of cafes, shopping, and scenic walks just down the hillside (or a very short drive away if you wish to explore). The house itself is also a fantastic, light, open space that is comfortable no matter which straw you draw for beds (we got the twins in the upstairs loft and had one of the soundest sleeps I'd had all winter). Plus, who doesn't love a hot tub. You never feel cramped even with a full house. The living room is an amazing space to just sip coffee and read your book in the morning sunshine or in front of the fire. The owners are extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful, and made sure our stay was top-notch. They have everything outlined for you in a book when you arrive and are there for you should you have any questions. I can't wait to go back next winter!

“Perfect house in an unbeatable lcoation”

Reviewed 20 May 2013

The house was exactly as it is pictured and very clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive to all our needs. We arrived right in time for all the snow to fall and loved the 3 days of fresh powered at Okemo! Not only can you walk to the base lodge but it is also a quick walk to Tom's Loft Tavern which had some great american bar food. We also headed into town - impressive how many different restaurants there are for a small VT town! We are coming back next year.

“Wonderful home steps to Okemo Mountain”

Reviewed 19 May 2013

We stayed at this beautiful home this winter for a great skiing weekend at Okemo. The home was very clean and had everything we needed, including a hot tub from which we could see the fireworks at Okemo -- what a great memory! This was a great place for our group of 12. The master bedroom is very spacious and the kids especially loved staying in the loft! A short walk (or ride on the shuttle) to the mountain, the home was also very convenient to skiing and was less than a mile from the grocery store and pubs/restaurants in the town center. We will definitely be back!

“Location and comfort in a perfect package!”

Reviewed 18 May 2013

We stayed here for a weekend in March. The owners have obviously put some work into the place - the kitchen and floors look wonderful and the rooms are nice and clean. The location can't be beat - just a few minutes walk down the hill and you're at the lodge! You can also wait for the shuttle which runs frequently. I love that we didn't have to drive the car over! Okemo itself is a great mountain. There's some really nice trails - great for any experience level. I did my first black diamond here! Overall wonderful weekend at a fantastic place. Thank you guys!

“Great house - easy walk to base lodge”

Reviewed 17 May 2013

We came down from Canada with a bunch of friends to spend a 3-day weekend at Okemo. The house was great and loved the hot tub. We even got to celebrate australia Day (1/26) which made for great Saturday night festivities!
