“Solid affordable place to stay”
Good room. Bring shampoo because they only provide soap. Brigitte from customer service was very helpful. About a $25 ride from downtown Nassau by taxi. Easy check in and check out.

Response from the manager Hi Shane, we're delighted you had an an amazing stay and discovered some of the gems like the nearby beach and fresh fish market ;) I've noticed in my travels that each country has their own cultural way of adorning their buildings, whether through brick homes, conch shells along the walls, or open lawns without walls. In The Bahamas, it is super common to have the features you mentioned as a part of the designs for homes (dating back to colonial times). I understand from visiting other places that this could be seen as shocking, but for us, it would be shocking not to have them ;) I'm glad you were able to experience the quiet and peaceful community we have at Montagu Villas and that you took advantage of the kitchen to prepare what I imagine were some wonderful meals from the fresh fish market!
