Pets allowed with $200 non-refundable fee per pet (2 maximum). 106 Loblolly Street.

We are sorry that had concerns about bed bugs during your stay, and we are thankful to know that upon inspection none were found. The gentleman who visited the home for that inspection was from a pest control company who specializes in the identification and treatment of bed bugs and other pests. Unfortunately, because that gentleman works for a company outside of Emerald Isle Realty, the concerns you voiced to him about the furnishings did not get relayed to our office. Our records do indicate that our housekeeping department attempted to make contact with you during your stay, likely in response to the message you left. It is also noted that compensation was given for your displeasure. We hope that in spite of your disappointment in the home you and your family were able to enjoy your time together in Emerald Isle.

This is an older home with a bronze rating which indicates that you will find that some of the furnishings and such are dated. Burke Cottage does provide a convenient location to the beach and the Oceanfront parking space makes loading/unloading for a day on the beach easy. Burke Cottage is a four bedroom home that is meant to accommodate eight adults. While you might find additional sleep space, this is for groups who might require separate lodging due to gender, age, or marital status. Because Burke Cottage is set up for eight adults, you will find that it will provide adequate seating, dinner and glassware, etc. for those eight people. I'm sorry that this posed an issue for your group of ten. Please let us know who will be coming with you when you call to book and we'll happily provide you with properties which will comfortably accommodate your group.
