Experience the vacation of a lifetime in our stunning holiday farmhouse perfectly located in Ireland's magical northwest. Have a great activity holiday or just relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you. This holiday home has a unique 40 foot lounge/reception area with superior views of Sligo Bay, Raghly Harbour, and Queen Maeve's cairn. Large, spacious fitted kitchen. Two bathrooms and four double bedrooms- three rooms with bay windows facing the sea. Free Fibre Broadband. Satellite TV. Large front and side garden/ lawns. Outdoor furniture and barbeque. Locked storage shed available for bicycles, surfboards, fishing rods, golf clubs, boats, etc. Private access to lands where Barnacle Geese and migrating birds are plentiful from October to April. Our friendliness and hospitality will make this your home away from home.

Large front lawn and garden. On the lounge/kitchen side of the house there is a secure, lawned play area for children. Old cobbled driveway with parking for up to 3 cars. Cobbled veranda. Patio with outdoor furniture. A barbeque is available for fresh lobster, crab meat, or whatever you fancy.

“Great Stay @ Herdsman's House”
We had a great time and were very well supported by the Host and his family for anything that we needed. There was plenty of room and the house would have taken another 3 or 4 people easily. The host is very knowledgeable about the local area and pointed out the history and some sights we would not have experienced otherwise. The view and the scenery are great and the location quiet. We particularly enjoyed the sunroom to read in and observe the bay beyond. The location is close to Grange, Streedagh beach and Sligo town (15 mins to each). Everything we needed was at hand and the kids loved the games room.

Great that you loved the remoteness and the rural outdoors, the walking tours of the area, the local harbour, fairy forts, etc. The days you were out fishing with Daryl (Sligo Boat Charters) gave you a taste of the 'wild' Wild Atlantic. Then the freshly barbecued mackerel and pollack you gave us was a treat. From the fishing trips to the calm of the kayaking to Dernish Island with Barry (Sligo Kayak Tours), you really made the most of your stay. Thanks again..Mary and Des
