Private garden with fantastic mountain views. Close to villages & beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way, golf links, Kylemore Abbey & National Park. Peace & Quiet. Great for family & friends.
Refundable Damage Deposit of €150 payable on arrival. Utilities payable locally by meter read. 3 nights minimum stay
Relax in charming Luthy Lodge, nestled in the valley of the Glencoaghan Horseshoe in the Twelve Bens Mountain Range. This stone clad cottage has everything you need for a self-catering vacation. Accomodation comprises entrance hall, a large living and dining room with kitchen, a master bedroom with en suite shower room (double and single bed ), two twin bedrooms (one upstairs) and family bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. Patio doors lead to an outdoor area with table/chairs. Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, 5 ring gas stove, electric fan oven, lobster pot, fish kettle, blender, dishes, glasses, cutlery etc. Washing machine. Dryer.
Views are of the stunning mountains, river and valley - a blanket bog and home to many animals, Connemara ponies and wild birds. The white tailed eagle is a visitor. The immediate area supports many wild native plants. Connemara and the Twelve Bens Mountains are a haven to those interested in nature.
There are lots of books, cards, board games, CD player & CDs. Please note there is no TV/WiFi however WiFi is freely available in most cafés, pubs and restaurants locally.
