This Luxury 4 Star Gold Award Self Catering Cottage is the ideal base for visiting this outstanding area of Britain. The Lake District is one hour away, Gretna Green 30 minutes and the Roman Wall 20 minutes to the north. We are located 10 minutes from junction 43 of the M6. Guests staying at the Cottage have complimentary use of the local Leisure Club (4 Miles).

“Relaxing in great surroundings”

Ideal position to visit attractions such as Hadrian’s Wall, Gretna Green and a little drive to the Lakes. Cottage offers the chance to chill out. It was clean, very well equipped and we received a warm welcome from Malcolm. PS if you are interested in military aircraft especially the Vulcan visit Solway Aviation museum at Carlisle airport.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
