Description

Pier Cottage is situated close to Kilcreggan Pier, the last remaining original Victorian Pier on the Rosneath Peninsula. Over 100 years old, today the Pier operates with a foot passenger ferry only. The cottage is set back from the Pier and sits peacefully in its own grounds offering stunning views out onto the Clyde from all rooms. Leading out from the patio doors there is a superb decking area where you can sit out and really appreciate the fresh air and waterside location. Inside there is the option of 2 fabulous woodburning stoves – one in the kitchen and the other in the sitting room to really enjoy those cold winter nights

A detached property with private enclosed garden, the cottage offers comfortable accommodation surrounded by spectacular scenery in quiet and relaxed surroundings. Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park offer water sports, cruises, gardens, golf courses and an aquarium. Excellent public transport links; city shopping in under an hour. Local shops, a pub, cafe and hotel with restaurant only a few minutes walk away

The cottage sleeps up to 4 people. The main bedroom has a double bed and shower, the second bedroom is a twin room. In the sitting room there is a comfortable sofa and single armchair where you can relax in front of the television, read a book or play a game whilst enjoying the warmth of a cosy woodburning stove. In the kitchen there is another woodburning stove and all the essentials required for cooking. Whilst the bathroom allows you to soak up the atmosphere in a deep roll top bath

“Amazing little cottage.”

My family and I spent a week here and it was lovely. The cottage is clean and has everything you could need. The views out onto the Clyde were fantastic and I loved watching all the boats, cruise ships and of course, the Waverley. Millie was really lovely and really wanted you to feel at home and she will deal with any issues very quickly (we had no hot water in the kitchen and someone came out and sorted it very quickly). I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with stunning views. Great pub food across the road.

“Wonderful break”

Pier Cottage is a gem. We took a short Easter break and hit the jackpot with this place. The cottage is cosy with great views, the owners are really nice and Kilcreggan is a real find. Hard to fault.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
