Description
CASITA de LUNA is a peaceful, beach-cabana studio, perfect for a relaxing vacation, just a few hundred feet away from the Pacific. Spectacular view (no exaggeration) of coastline and Sierra Laguna mountains to east, with lots of open space, nature and seclusion. Hours on the porch in the hammock or recliner, watching whales, will make your stay. You'll enjoy few neighbors, houses to the north and northwest with 90 acres of old-growth cactus to the south with great wildlife habitat and bird watching (osprey, quail, road runners, etc.). Sea turtle hatcheries are just down the beach, for an inspirational experience. Or just hang out on the porch and marvel at the whales migrating by, take pictures, read a selection from our box of books, or take a nap. A great little rustic hideaway where you can really relax. It is our personal home, not a guest house, so it contains all the little extras you need for a homey experience. The local 16% IVA sales tax (ouch) is included in the price. This is a registered business rental - we're legal.

*Beach toys - Cooler, beach umbrella, beach mats, canvas chairs, mask & snorkels and boogie boards available for renters to use, in the storage under the porch.
*Plenty of hot water in walk-in shower.
*Chairs, table and rockers on porch or terraza.
*Hammock for beach-side porch.
*Daily afternoon breeze through ocean-side french doors, or 2 ceiling fans and 1 floor fan.
*Metal doors with secure locks if you want to leave them open all night.
*Stairs to terraza with spectacular view of ocean and Sierra Laguna mountains - great for sunsets, star gazing, yoga, meditation, you name it.
*Box of books for your reading pleasure.
*Lower carbon foot print vacation! Green with solar power and city electricity and sink /shower water recycled out to the garden; precious water in desert environment is conserved.
We do have outdoor security cameras, for your protection.
We are close to Todos Santos with all it's amenities to explore:
*Restaurants galore - from destination to street-cart eating opportunities,
*Shopping, including the many art galleries in town,
*Culture center/historic architecture, see the 12 Saints/Santos in town,
*Bars including Mescal Bar and Baja Brewing Company.
*Classes in yoga, art, Spanish, surfing, meditation, kayaking, you name it,
*Tours of town, beaches, hikes into the mountains and to local waterfall,
*Beaches with swimming, surfing, fishing, sea kayaking, beach combing, snorkeling, horseback riding,
*Volunteer opportunities to help with sea turtle restoration (almost a spiritual experience), or Palapa Society.
*Mountain Biking trails right from the house. Over The Edge in town rents bikes.

House rules
We've had good and disastrous results from renters with dogs. Pets might be allowed on a case by case situation with extra charge. Please email me to discuss. Thanks!
Please return beach toys to the storage area and only take beach chairs to the beach. The sofa bed is $20 extra if reservation is only for 2 people, and please notify in advance. Thanks!
