Description
Recently renovated barn with central heating and log burner situated in a small hamlet of Mastizon between Chassenon and Chabanais which has all the amenities, in the heart of the charentais countryside.
Its location is ideal for all the lakes of the haute Charente giving you lakes with sandy beaches ,swimming, sailing and fishing.
The ancient Chassenon Roman bathes are only 5 minutes away and the memorial town of Oradour sur Glane just 20 minutes.
The large picturesque towns of Angoulême and Limoges only 40minutes , with Limoges airport being only 30 minutes away.
Golf can be found nearby in St Junien and a little further Golf de la Preze.
Beauty treatments are available on request carried out in the relaxation of your own gîte on in the nearby small salon in Mastizon.

“Amazing Gite and hosts”

“Fantastic place”
A lovely place to stay, the gite was well equipped with everything you could need. On arrival there was a welcome basket with some cheese, wine bread etc and Debs had also made us a salad and a bowl of strawberries from the garden. There is a nice pool, unfortunately we didn't get to make much use of it due to some unseasonable weather. Debs is a great host who can give you lots of information about the local area. A great place to stay.

“Stupendous”
We tasted here for a week and enjoyed a very peaceful relaxing time, didn't do a great deal ,just chilled out by the pool and BBQ every evening. Spent some nights just star gazing , there are so many here , no light pollution , amazing. There is plenty to do if you want it, but it was so fab and private here we didn't venture out much. Deborah and Garry are brill, there if you need them but not in your face at all. There knowledge of the area is great ,told us what to see and what not to do. We will be back with mates Thanks again.
