Our vacation home in Donegal, Ireland is situated on the road between the heritage town of Ardara and the lovely village of Glencolumcille in west Donegal - about a 3 hour drive from Belfast Airport and Larne ferry terminal and about 3 hours 30 minutes from Dublin Airport and ferry terminal.

This traditional Irish cottage is well over 150 years old but has all modern conveniences, including full bathroom with separate shower, and ensuite shower room to the master bedroom with power shower. There are two further bedrooms, both with double beds, and the cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people as there is a double sofa bed in the living room. There is a traditional fireplace in the living room, and a fully equipped kitchen and utility/ laundry room.

The cottage is situated in a very rural mountain area, extremely peaceful with beautiful mountain views and only 15 - 20 minutes drive from fantastic beaches at, among others, Fintra, Glencolumcille and Narin / Portnoo. The breathtaking beach at Maghera, complete with caves, is very close by. There are also some great golf courses in Donegal.

How do damage deposits work?

If Colette (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
