Description

We hope that you will make our oceanfront getaway your next vacation destination. We have a beautiful rattan (king size bed with euro top) bedroom set, a loveseat futon, and beautiful seacape paintings by a local artist to make you feel at home. There is a beautiful hand painted room divider that separates the bedroom area from the sitting area.

Pirates Cove is located in beautiful Daytona Beach Shores, close to where all the action is, but far enough away to ensure a good night’s sleep. For your pleasure we supply beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels, and beach chairs for the nights you want to sit on the patio with a cool drink and watch the beach scene. This condo is located on the ground floor and over looks the ocean. You can park right in front of the condo so there are no elevators or stairs to deal with. When you open your front door, you are looking at the ocean, turn to the left, take a few steps, and you are at the beautiful oceanfront pool. From the pool area you can walk out on to the beach. This condo is great for the bikers who can park their bikes right in front of the window. We supply a tv with cable, VCR, DVD, boom box, Internet connection (WiFi is available too), towels, linens, all pots, pans, utensils, refrigerator, small oven with two burners, coffee maker, toaster, iron and hair dryer to name a few of the units amenities. The resort has a laundry room on the ground floor a short distance from this unit.

No one will enter your room until you check out. So, you can feel at home. Our charges include clean up after you leave. Florida does make us charge a 12.5% tourist tax. There are no hidden charges or fine print. We want you to feel secure in booking with us. You will not be charged for anything else. The rates vary as to the time of year and what events are happening in Daytona Beach.

There is more to Daytona Beach than water! Sunrise and sunset walks on the beach. Swimming, surfing, and boating or just floating in the ocean or heated pool. There are plenty of good restaurants for dining and relaxing. Check out our page of "places to go and things to see in the area" with links to the most popular spots including the nearby Orlando area. Great location! Magnificent view. Condo is perfect for two people, well equipped and very clean. Excellent value for the money. We have stayed here twice and would definitely go again!

Response from the owner I am very shocked at the review. Robert K. and Maryann G. reserved the unit from January 1, 2015 through February 28, 2015. Why on earth would anyone stay there for that length of time if what he wrote in his review was true? Ms. G called me when they arrived to let me know that she used bleach to wash down every surface in the unit and that she does that wherever she goes. I figured she was a germaphobe. Unfortunately, all the navy blue rugs and 2 bath towels had bleach damage as a result. The bed linens were new, never used. Ms. G also mentioned to me on that first and only phone call I received that she “bombed” the unit to make sure there were no bugs, as she has a phobia about bugs. Naturally, I thought that was strange and that was the last contact I had with my guests until March 3rd. When my cleaning service went to the unit after they left (02/28/15) she took pictures and informed me of the damage. When Mr. K inquired about his deposit (03/03/2015) I let him know that I was going to replace the bleach damaged items, which I did, and return the balance of his deposit. (Pictures of the damage were sent to Mr. K.) I had guest in the unit until December 30th who were very happy, no complaints, and guests in the unit now who are thrilled to be there and want to reserve for next year. No bugs were seen by these guests. It seems strange that bugs only arrived when Mr. K and Ms. G stayed in the unit and left when they left. All the kitchen items were clean as were dishes and glasses. I tell my guests when cooking not to use the stove/oven and microwave at the same time but apparently they didn't heed my request. It’s funny that the shower didn't have mold until they were living in the unit. My guess is they didn't leave the exhaust fan on after taking a shower. Mr. K claims he texted me and when I asked him what number he used, he gave me my land line number, which doesn’t accept texts. Mr. K also neglected to mention that he received a 10% discount in his review. Please see my other reviews and note that my unit is booked for a year in advance by repeat guests. That alone should be a good recommendation for anyone who would like to book my unit.
