Description

Doolin Breeze Holiday Home is a superbly spacious and extremely comfortable holiday home, located approx. 2 kms outside the spa town of Lisdoonvarna, and 4 kms from Doolin, County Clare, Ireland. The superb seaview includes not only the Atlantic, but also the area around Doolin and the surrounding country side.

Doolin is famous for its 'craic' with traditional Irish music sessions, and for its magnificent seascape. Lisdoonvarna has a variety of hotels and pubs with traditional and modern music sessions most nights. The location is a central touring base for the attractions of Galway, Limerick and Clare. Nearby are the Cliffs of Moher, Burren National Park and Aillwee & Doolin caves. Activities include walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, golfing, surfing, bird watching and boat trips to the nearby Aran Islands.

The world renowned Lahinch Golf Course is just 12 km from Doolinbreeze . Lahinch also boasts a beautiful extensive Sandy beach with panoramic views.

Up to 6 people can be accommodated extremely comfortably in the 3 bedrooms - one king-size double, one double and one twin bedroom, all on the ground floor and all en-suite with shower/WC. All bedrooms are furnished with back-care beds to provide for maximum sleeping comfort.

Doolinbreeze is maintained to a very high standard . Its interior decoration is carefully chosen and is very tastefully designed. All rooms , including the bedrooms are spacious , filled with natural light and you are guaranteed an excellent nights sleep . Bed linen, towels,extra bed cover and pillows are available for your comfort.

From the sitting and dining rooms there is a sea view westwards as well as a country side view.

The cottage is very centrally located in the middle of all the sights and attractions but it still has a lovely peaceful location. You can admire the cattle grazing in the fields or enjoy the birds sing on the trees. This is truely an idyllic place in which to holiday

Maureen likes to greet and welcome her guests in person. However if guests are delayed etc. or due to unforeseen circumstances this may not always be possible. Maureen enjoys meeting and chatting to people and likes to travel so she will have a lot in common with her guests. She has an extensive knowledge of this magnificent region and will be delighted to share her knowledge with you. She is a keen walker and cyclist and loves nature so she has many tips to share with her visitors about the many treasures , attractions and scenic spots of Doolin and North Clare. “DoolinBreeze cottage”

We stayed at this lovely cottage for a week. We arrived to a very warm welcome, Maureen had set the table with lovely goodies and the kettle on! Very spacious house with each room having its own ensuite which as an adult family suited us perfectly. Comfortable beds as well! Ideal location for travelling, extremely close to both Lisdoonvarna and Doolin. Perfect location with loads of things to do in the area for people of all ages. Maureen was a splendid host. She left us to ourselves but assured us that if we needed anything she could be on hand to help and to feel free to contact her at any time. She even dropped in homemade goods during the week. They were very accommodating with checking in times as well since we had car trouble on the way down and were delayed. TLDR: lovely cottage with fantastic hosts. Great holiday

“Perfect place to stay and ideally located for travelling around the area!”

We stayed in Breeze Cottage for a week at the end of July 2019 - three people, each had it's own spacious bedroom with en suite. Kitchen with all the appliances (in perfectly working condition!) and separate dinning room were excellent for breakfast and evening tea while very cosy and tastefully decorated sitting room with TV, comfortable sofa & chairs and tonnes of brochures about the places of interest in the area helped us to shape our daily trips. Warm welcome from Maureen with home baked cake and tasty sandwiches was particular touching because she came to meet us upon our arrival when heavy, really heavy rain started! Location wise - if you are travelling by car you can get to all the tourist attractions and all places of interest including stunning views of Geo-sites within 30 min drive which is great! Also very short drive to local pubs and restaurants in Lisdoonvarna and Doolin. We would highly recommend this cottage. Many thanks to Maureen and James!
