Description

Tranquil setting, yet tantalisingly close to all amenities and the great beaches of Sanur, Bali. This utterly charming, unique 4 bedroom house (each with own bathroom, air-conditioning and fan), large outdoor living and entertaining spaces and glorious pool and garden offers the best of Bali.

We're down a lane and safe and very quiet. You also have very easy access to the beach, where there are any number of great warungs and restaurants and some lovely bars. You can ride a bike on the promenade (the Villa Manager will help with renting anything you need); you can find a spa and get pampered, see the sunset on the clean, wide, white-sand beach.

We trust you'll enjoy a very happy time here. In the words of one of our (scores and scores of great reviews):

Then, there are many of Bali's famous tours and temple visits. Venturing out is a particularly special part of the Bali adventure and we recommend getting to see and experience other parts of this beautiful island. You'll find cultural events and tours,.. easy to get to from Villa Sekala and our wonderful Villa manager will make any and all arrangements if you'll like to visit outside Sanur.

Our villa is a special, safe and quiet space to stay and great to venture out from. Explore locally, venture further out so you can return to the Sanur haven and feel utterly at rest.

Our villa manager, Komang, will welcome and look after you and help make your stay truly special. She's renowned for some of the best breakfasts in the area! She's also a terrific cook for other meals too, so don't hesitate to speak to her about arranging some meals during your stay.

There is a possibility to accommodate more than the optimum (8), though not in their own room. (We have two single beds that can be made up in the family room. There's a premium per guest per day).

Don't hesitate to ask for whatever you need. If it's in Komang's power, she will make sure to help. We're more than happy to help you with your trip... planning or tips on eating or shopping or onward travel.

Getting around

Sanur is a great place to walk around. Distances are not large, the streets are relatively quiet, and there is a splendid, paved beach front path which runs the whole length of the district. You could also hire bikes (Komang can organise these for you at a reasonable rate ±$4/day) and explore the easy to navigate, wide streets of the main areas and even the narrower side streets and lanes. Tree-lined streets are plentiful so it's a very pleasant place to ride around. The paved beach front path is also terrific to do on the bike. Taxis are plentiful, and inexpensive if you want to go anywhere in Sanur or, indeed, the other parts of the island. Komang can arrange transport and, if you'd like to do your own driving, she can find a hire car.

Interaction with guest

I won't be at the villa when you are staying. Our wonderful manager, Komang Desi will be able to help you and, should there be anything you need that she can't manage, don't hesitate to email or, indeed, call or email and I'll be more than happy to help if I can.
