Since the virus, we have instituted a more rigorous cleaning and disinfecting regime to remove contaminants from a surface and to kill pathogens; especially high-touch surfaces. These include doorknobs, table surfaces, Hard dining chairs (seat, back, and arms), kitchen counters, bathroom counters, faucets and knobs, toilets (seat and handle), light switches, TV remote controls, and game controllers. CANCELLATION POLICY: Full refund if guests have negative tests or flights to/from The Bahamas are canceled.


Water's Edge is an exclusive private villa with 130 feet of oceanfront and all the modern amenities to make it your home away from home. This 2800 sq foot villa on the serene eastern end of Nassau is the perfect escape for your family. Enjoy lounging in a hammock on the huge back patio with panoramic views of Athol and Rose Island and cool down in our private freshwater pool with soothing fountain.

Step directly into the crystal clear ocean through the back gate for a swim, or row our dinghy out a few hundred feet to snorkel the many surrounding reefs. If the ocean is not for you, you can relax in our freshwater pool offering spectacular views of the ocean. Spend your evenings sipping Bahama Mamas seated at the outdoor wet bar, and grill the fish you caught on our stone charcoal grill. We even have our own Margaritaville Navigator drinks maker.


Brew a cup of coffee in the modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Count the sailboats on the ocean from the expansive shower in the new master bathroom. The house includes 4 bedrooms, all with queen beds and can sleep up to 8 people. All the beds have been recently renewed with new mattresses and memory foam pads. Plenty of towels (beach and regular) are available. If you choose to eat dinner inside you can dine under the chandelier in our dining room (perhaps making use of our private chef) and enjoy the view of the tropical front patio (also the perfect place for your morning coffee) with local flora and fauna. You can also make use of the relaxing sun-room overlooking the ocean that includes a cozy reading area and casual dining section.

From the cathedral-ceilinged central living space, you can open the french doors leading to the ocean patio and enjoy the cool eastern breezes.

What makes Water's Edge the ultimate rental? We provide Cable TV, waterproof Bluetooth speaker, and fast, reliable, free WIFI throughout the house for those guests who may need to stay connected while in paradise. A dinghy and snorkeling equipment are provided for your enjoyment. We also provide a free local phone to make reservations and inquiries. Enjoy the privacy of the 'non-tourist' area with easy access to exploring the best of what Nassau has to offer.

For extra luxury, you can choose optional daily housekeeping, catering and private chef services, and in-home massage and nail (mani/pedi) services. Additional costs apply.


I can recommend Joe, our taxi driver, for all group transport requirements. It is a short 10-12 minutes drive to the Atlantis Resort, but we believe that once you set foot in Water's Edge you won't feel the need to go anywhere else.

Getting around

Downtown is a very walkable area to visit the sights and to shop. For transport/taxi for the whole group, I recommend our taxi guy, Joe. He has worked with us for years and is knowledgable, economic and reliable. Taxi fares are based on distance and there are flat fees from place to place. They are rarely metered. Taxis can be found outside most hotels, the British Colonial hotel, opposite McDonald's is the best place to catch a taxi downtown. Remember to ask how much the journey will be in advance.

Interaction with guest

Our Property Manager, Marsha, will be in touch before your arrival to take your flight details. She will then be at the villa to receive you, give you the keys and show you around the property. She will also be available for any questions throughout your stay as she lives close by. Additionally, we are always available by telephone or email to address any concerns you have during your stay.
