This circa 1836 Georgian style 5 bedroom home is just one block away from Queen Street, the heart of Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, where you'll discover a myriad of shops, restaurants, art galleries, the Shaw Theatre and North America's oldest golf course. A short walk to Lake Ontario brings you to what is considered one of the 10 most beautiful sunsets in the world by National Geographic.

Regent House has ample space to meet all your needs, while at the same time offering you comfort, warmth and a luxurious environment. All of our rooms are upscale, unique and tastefully decorated. Each of our 5 bedrooms have their own private ensuite. Enjoy the comforts of luxurious towels and spa toiletries in every bathroom. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare the perfect dinner. Stay connected with hi-speed wireless internet access and free North American long distance calling. A 50 inch HD Plasma TV , Blu-Ray player and Bose audio system are available should you want to stay in and watch your favourite movie.

Our stay at The Regent House was all we had hoped. WE are 4 adult children spending a few special days with Mom in celebration of her 90th birthday. The size and layout of the house met our needs perfectly. It has a touch of elegance with a homey and comfortable feel.... a home away from home. Paul and Melissa are friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The location is perfect. We can easily recommend The Regent House for your visit to Niagara-on-the-lake area,

We just spent a wonderful weekend celebrating with 10 friends at The Regent House in NOTL. We were greeted by the owners Melissa and Paul and they instantly made us feel at home. We were all very happy and satisfied with the home from top to bottom. The bedrooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, each with their own ensuite , the beds were so comfortable.There was plenty of room for all of us, with was a very large dining room and 2 large living areas.The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. There's a walk out to the back patio with a beautiful private yard. the house is just a few blocks to the main street....great spot...highly recommend! Would love to return when all the lovely gardens are in bloom....Happy Travels

Regent House is far more than meets the eye for a group of ten. It is incredibly comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen for anything that you want to cook. If you don't feel like cooking you are super close to Queen Street for the restaurants and shopping. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which allows a large group to spread out and have some privacy. Melissa and Paul leave many special little touches for their guests that make your stay very special. Thank you so much. You have a beautiful home and we all will be back.

From the moment that we met the owners Paul and Melissa at the door, we felt welcome. Regent House is a beautiful residence that has obviously been restored with love. The decor and the furnishings are top quality. The kitchen is fully equipped, the linens are of superior quality, games, movies and books are provided and guests are provided with free wi-fi. In short, our group of 10 extended family felt completely at home. Regent is a beautiful house in a beautiful town.

“Nine long-time friends gathered together for our 27th annual gourmet group trip” The Regent House met and exceeded our group's expectations in every way. The 5-bedroom, 6-bath home, located a block and a half off of the main street, was the perfect place for all of us for a week in NOTL in early August. Each one of the bedrooms was tastefully decorated and well-appointed as was also true of the public spaces in the house. Some of the amenities were the high quality of the appliances, cookware, dishes, glassware in the kitchen, attractive and comfortable furniture throughout the house, an excellent music system and HDTV in the family room, free Wifi, and a fully equipped and supplied laundry room on the first floor that also included a full sixth bathroom. We spent much of our "downtime" cooking together in the kitchen or at the outside barbecue while "catching up with each other's lives" in the family room and patio dining areas. We all felt relaxed and "at home" in this beautifully restored home with its lovely gardens. There is so much to do in NOTL -- theater at the Shaw Festival, wine tours, a tour of Ft. George, the Peach Festival, great produce from local farm stands and Farmer's Markets, and of course the awesome experience of Niagara Falls from the Canadian side. Melissa and Paul, the owners of the Regent House, could not have been more helpful in the planning for our time in NOTL. They are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all that is available to guests. We all agreed that this week at the Regent House and in the NOTL area was truly at the top of the list of the places we have stayed together over the past 27 years we have been traveling together.

We had a wonderful time at Niagara on the Lake with our children and grandchildren. The Regent House suited all eleven of us in grand style. It is within two blocks of the wonderful shops on Queen Street which we walked to daily after sightseeing the city. The house is very clean, spacious, very well decorated, and Paul and Melissa are wonderful hosts. As we were leaving our twelve year old granddaughter said "boy I'm going to miss that house". I could not have said it any better.

We have only superlatives to describe our stay at Regent House. Our book club group of 9 women spent 3 nights in this lovely home. Everything was superb- the bedrooms, en suite bathrooms, beautiful private garden and patio, the amply equipped kitchen, and the elegant dining room with seating for 10. It was such a treat to be able to walk to the theatres and shops in 5 or 10 minutes, and then to return to such gracious surroundings. We spent many happy hours relaxing, sharing meals and wine, and enjoying one another's company. I should also mention that prior to our trip, Paul went out of his way to ensure that one bathroom was suitably equipped to accommodate one of our group with mobility issues. All in all, a 5-star retreat, and one that we highly recommend.

Regent House went far beyond my expectations. The location is perfect, quiet and within walking distance of everything we needed. The house is beautifully decorated with spacious bedrooms and common rooms. It was the perfect place for a girl's weekend and has changed the way I will vacation in the future. Thank you to our hosts Melissa and Paul! We will definitely be back! I highly recommend Regent House!

We had the very great pleasure of staying with 4 other couples at Regent House. We met the owners on check in and they were the nicest people. The pictures on the web site do not give this house justice. Their home is decorated with beautiful antiques, each room had its own bathroom, the kitchen was well equipped and we had a lovely dinner in house. The two sitting areas were so comfortable we could have slept on the couches. It is only 2 blocks to downtown and the Shaw. Best of all it was so clean and the beds so comfortable. We did not want to go home. We highly recommend this for anyone who wants a perfect get away in Niagara on the Lake.
