Off the beaten path...this quiet non-smoking hilltop, 3 Bedroom / 3 Bath home overlooks the Adirondack Mountains and historic village of Saranac Lake. Pure mountain air and the noted healing powers of the Adirondack State Park have drawn people to the village for over a century. Visitors today find refuge from the pressure of city living and savor a slower pace of life and the beauty of nature.

This charming retreat features knotty pine walls and large picture windows that provide terrific views of the woodland surrounding the property. A unique feature is the screened Front Porch where you can relax on the two antique "Cure" Chairs and watch the wildlife.

On the main level, a spacious Great Room with a George Jacques dining table and chairs provide the perfect setting for sharing meals, games, and conversation with family and friends. A window Air Conditioner is provided to add to your comfort. The wood burning brick Fireplace will warm you after skiing or as you sip a glass of wine. Wood is provided.

Catch the latest shows and news on the wall mounted swivel 42" Flat screen TV. A Stereo DVD, CD and VCR Player is provided. The fully equipped Kitchen has been remodeled with new cabinets, appliances, floor, granite countertops, and small George Jacques table. Spices, coffee and basic foodstuffs are provided! The Master Bedroom, on the same floor features a King size Bed with a new mattress and and private en-suite Bath featuring a tiled shower and floor . The large picture window provides dappled lighting and views of the village below. An additional window contains a fan for summer comfort.

There is an additional full guest Bath with Tub just off the great room.

The entire main floor is appointed with new wooden blinds.

As you descend the custom wrought iron spiral staircase you will find two additional Guest Bedrooms. One with a brand new Queen Bed and the second with two Twin Beds and a new tile Bathroom. All bedrooms contain window fans.

The Laundry Room is located on this level.

There is a picnic table, gas grill and rock gardens on a large lawn as well as a Parking area for two cars. Additional cars can be parked in front of the house on the road except during the winter.

The keys will be provided upon booking. The Caretaker lives next door and is available to answer questions and suggest places to visit at any time. Books on the area concerning hiking, boating and history as well as brochures are provided. I am only a phone call away to provide any information or assistance and to suggest restaurants, hikes and mountains to scale!
