Description

Take your Italian experience in a quaint independent home in an Italian Hilltop Village near Viterbo and Orvieto.

Independent house, sleeps 2. Living room, fully equipped kitchen(washing machine), bedroom, 1 bath, linens etc..

Wireless internet for your laptop.

Cozy and clean and comfortable!

The house has no outdoor space or balcony so for animals they must be taken outside.

You have the Marquis gardens and pool for swimming in paradise!(June-Aug) the pool and gardens are 100meters was from the house.

The village, "Roccalvecce", is small, with only 12 families all winter and over 200 people during July/August!

Ancient and classic with the Marchese still in charge and has amazing local folk, post office and many stores within 10 minutes away.

By car you have endless sites right around the village (like Orvieto, Todi, Perugia) and yet if you want to drive 10 min. down to the train line Rome-Florence and park the car in ALVIANO and train it to all the Italian destinations you want. Maybe for the day (Rome is one hour south) or stay 1 or two nites in bigger cities like Florence or Venice then come back and pick up yur car and go back to your cozy house and village again.

Just peace and quiet.

Many Etruscan historic sites, incredible food like truffles and wild boar!

Great views of countryside and amazing local people, cheap and delicious food and wine at the many "Sagras" which are the Festivals of local foods and wines all over this region named "Tuscia".

Getting around

It is best with a car for going out to see all the amazing sites . There are buses into the village from Viterbo and Orvieto. The train line is a 15 minute drive from the village, from there you can park your car and go to any destination in Italy.

We live in the next village, 5 minutes away. So anything you neeed during your stay we will provide if you so desire.

House rules

This is an independent house so you must only respect it like your own.
When storms hit it is wise to close all windows tight if you leave the house for even a day so the wind doesn't break the glass.
Then the garbage is left out for pick up and there is a schedule for what when is picked up.
Then have a great vacation!

How do damage deposits work?
